I'd be surprised if all 20 are released. I don't believe having the Premier League license gives them permission to release individual club memorabilia, it only gives them permission to release collections including all 20 clubs under the Premier League label.

If they want to release sets for individual clubs they need an additional different license agreement with those clubs as far as I understand it. They will release tins of separate sets for most of the traditional "Big Six" like Panini can still do (without Premier League branding) but Sunderland and Burnley tins, whilst nice for those supporters, are not going to be economical for the greedy Fanatics to produce.

I hope I'm wrong to be honest!

Yes, I think you might be right, taking a second look I only saw tins for Arsenal, United (do they still qualify as a big club ?), City and Celtic.

I'm sick of the endless cash grabs for the PL since they got the license back, cards, standard tins, hobby boxes, boot tins, club tins, festive cards.....it goes on....and on......and on.

....and it will continue to go on......and on......and on, until the well is sucked well and truly dry.

It's one of the billions of different Parallel Cards that are in this new Premier League Set.

It's a nice card though - there are only 74 others like it so it's quite rare.

Looks like some folks are struggling to find the newer packets locally. I had the same issue, but I managed to grab a few from this nerd store last week. They still had a decent variety left, including some multi-packs. If you're nearby or don't mind ordering online, it's worth checking them out before everything sells out.

I did after a lot of thought want a hobby box but in the end only went down the route of entering the EQL launch at £145. Even trusted UK sellers such as SportsCardsDirect and SportsTradingCardsUK were silly prices. SCD in particular started at £184.99, then put it to 199.99, a week later 214.99 and finally on the eve of release up another £10, I won’t morally give places like that my money when I see them purposely taking advantage of the market. Seeing some of the comments I don’t think I’ll bother with overly flooded sets like this in future, numbered cards are a great chase but /499 is silly

I'll never pay that amount of money for a hobby box. I'm not interested in rarities (although I do have a few) and I don't chase numbered parallels (and I have a few of those too).

I just like to collect the various sets that interest me and not worry about the really expensive stuff.

Topps have gone too far along the road of producing big, expensive, uncollectable card sets that cost a lot of time and money to put together. That is their choice, but it is not for me and I won't be doing it again also.

I think my focus now is on the more specific team sets, if it’s a team I like (e.g Lineage, Palatial, Anniversay). I know they aren’t the cheapest but at least it’s focused and you know you’re in for a good hit.

Can anyone tell me if there’s a specific regularity to these sets or pure random? I know just the other day they did Ajax 125th anniversary but I don’t know when the previous premium team was before that.

Another thing recently with Topps is that new drops are so hard to secure direct through them, they open a drop, it’s sold out within minutes if not seconds and adding to your cart doesn’t even secure you a box, I’ve seen countless people say they got told it was sold out during payment

I have also been told that sometimes these boxes take months to arrive - if they ever do and getting your money back from Topps is not an easy process.

I have one of the Chelsea boxes - I got it from ebay for a pretty cheap price - I wasn't very impressed with the contents.
