It’s been a few years since I was properly active here, and I’m happy to be back for a little while at least

I finally had some time to give CardzReview the attention it deserves, so here’s what’s changed and what’s coming.
Security first
AI tools have made it much faster and easier to find and attack weak spots in websites, and older sites like ours are an easy target. So the first job was making the site safer:
I know the ads have been annoying. I’m working on cutting them down to a small number in sensible places, with no pop-ups. Some of this is still in progress, so thanks for your patience.

A huge thank you to everyone who kept this community alive over the years: swapping, answering questions, posting checklists and showing off your collections. Special thanks to @dantzig and the rest of the admin team for looking after the forum, and to all the active members who make this place what it is.

.I finally had some time to give CardzReview the attention it deserves, so here’s what’s changed and what’s coming.
Security first
AI tools have made it much faster and easier to find and attack weak spots in websites, and older sites like ours are an easy target. So the first job was making the site safer:
- The forum and the website are updated to their latest versions.
- Old plugins and add-ons we no longer need are gone.
- Logins for the staff team are protected.
- You can now add a passkey to your own account under Account → Password and security. It’s quicker than a password and much harder to steal.
- Dark mode. The site follows your device’s setting, or you can switch it with the moon/sun icon at the top.
- A new homepage that puts the forum first. You’ll find the latest threads, the busiest discussions, collector guides, and all the album reviews and checklists in one place.
- A cleaner, easier-to-read forum on both phones and computers.
