World Darts Championship Sticker Collection

I have just seen that there will be a Panini sticker collection about the World Darts Championship.

It seems that there are some multipacks on amazon uk for sale. The album was on it just like boxes with 36 packs but I can't find them anymore. Delivery date is scheduled between December and February so no real info yet on the release date. The Championship itself starts mid December so I assume it will be released before. The collection contains 312 stickers

Maybe... just maybe there is a market for it and maybe those interested in Darts are not overly interested in Football (or maybe they like both which is likely)

Darts quite a popular past time here, it has grown massively these past few years and on eBay alone there are 1000s of Panini cards for Darts being sold. Lots with bids too and some are bidding over a £1000 for single cards. Good to see that it's not just football that interests people.

Tbh it's not really one for me but it's good to see variety in the market

According to Darts World Magazine (yep I know!), it is the fastest growing sport in the UK with huge markets in Netherlands, Germany etc Lots of sports here that go under the radar, just look at attendances for Stock cars, they get huge crowds every Sunday. Football isn't everything thankfully

I can only agree the post above. Darts is very popular in the UK, Germany and The Netherlands. Its also growing over here in Belgium.

For the last 2 years they made trading cards that are quite expensive (155£ for a box with 80 cards) and are almost everywhere sold out.

I follow a lot of darts fans on social media and most can't wait until the sticker album is released.

I am a dartsfan for over 30 years and its the first time I can collect a darts sticker album. To be honestly I have never been more hyped about a collection than now.

Love it! 180!!!!! The more I look at this, I might even get a little of this collection, it is tempting me in! I mean how many times do we need to see Messi, Ronaldo and top players like Wout Faes. Jordan Ayew in our sticker collections! Variety is great to have. My word we even had two Speedway albums from Curtis Sports that do Football programmes in UK!

Yeah darts captures a completely different feeling to sport. It offers a night out for all ages, and these days just going to the pub is losing it's appeal, but going to the pub style event with a darts match on or go to football with pub-like clubhouse (like I do!) is all the rage.

So I think it has really captured a lot of people looking for a fun night out with razzmatazz!

Reminds me of when two lads a few years ago at work used to get song titles into as many conversations as they could without being noticed as some sort of game between themselves! They worked in stock control, so I guess it helped get them through the day!

And I think it should definitely be high on Topps + Panini's agenda to get Luke into every sticker album going from Stranger Things to The Smurfs, and as we digitalise further it will be possible to retro add him into Panini World Cup 70 album pretending he really was in the World Cup back then!

Not being funny - but how do you get a 300+ sticker set on darts ?

Is there a section on all the different alcoholic drinks served at darts matches ?

Are there shots of horizontal darts players sleeping off a hangover ?

Do you need two stickers to get the frames of most darts players in ?

We need a snooker set or bar billiards or legends of curling (which I am a huge fan of by the way - especially when the Japanese ladies team is playing).

I can think of many different things that can be added in this set... besides the dozens of different players, profile, action and celebration stickers, there's still the crowd (which is quite entertaining), custom darts, custom targets (whatever it's called), the hosts (180!!!), even beverages could be added if it wasn't a sensitive issue of both alcohol and advertising.

I would love to get a snooker set, always loved watching it on Eurosport and even attended one in Lisbon like 10 years ago (have some autos of Trump, Maguire and couple more I can't recall now).

They are up for pre-order on panini uk and will be shipped from 19 february.
Hopefully they will be available on other places aswell
