Just wanted to ask where do most of us keep are collections? Most people store them in a closet and the reason for that it's more climate control.
Your closet most of the time will have a better room temperature then say for example your room. While your albums should be placed in a dark cool place where sunlight/fluorescent can not get to them. Light will cause pages to yellow and fade away.
Another thing everyone should really try to avoid is humidity! Humidity is papers worst enemy aside from fire. Humidity can damage your stickers/albums so this must be prevented. What I heard best to keep your books from getting affected from this is a dehumidifier. This might cost a little bit of dollars, but what price does your collection really have? What space in your heart? I do not own myself I'm currently saving for one as we speak right now. I been using these items called damprid which you place them in your closet and it sucks up all the humidity.
Please everyone any thoughts on collecting and storing your stickers, albums and cards please post your comments below.
Any questions contact me.
