UEFA Champions League Sticker Album 26/27

Hi guys, found some pictures of the upcoming UEFA Champions League's season 26/27 sticker collection, looks like just a concept for now.

I quite enjoyed this last year. I collected it largely swapping duplicates of other collections and I picked up one of the jersey relics in the starter pack which was a happy fluke.

I do absolutely hate the thin nature of Topps stickers but that’s not going to change.

It will be interesting to see what the design is like

I bought a few batches and collected this set last year despite there being nothing in the shops at all.

I'm sure it will be a "cut and paste" collection from the previous year, but there really are not that many sets that I intend to collect next season so I might go for it.

To be honest, last year stickers was thin, but not bended after opening as much as stickers from 24/25 set.
At the same time the quality of centring was awful. Plus, I found like a hundred stickers with damages from printing equipment.

But comparing with WC I even like players in posing, and hate photos "in action" (Qarabag and Kopenhagen).

God damn, you are right.
I remember that we got Ludogorets stickers "few years ago". But when I look on the checklist, it was in 2016/17 season.

Yeah, we got Ludogorets in 2014 and 2016 and Levski in Panini 365 in 2015 and 2016. The national team was last collected in 2004

To be honest I like it when the "random" or the underdog teams qualify and are in the sticker collection, always nice to see some new faces, like Sabah yesterday and LASK after their comeback.

I can't see this happening unfortunately, there are too many teams. That's already 648 stickers, add another 36 for badges. They will absolutely insist on having more 1st, Energy etc too. Topps don't seem to like sticker albums this large.

True, that's why I would introduce two-player stickers.
You could have 14 stickers per team like last year, but with a different structure.
For instance, 1 badge sticker, 11 regular stickers and 2 two-player stickers per team. That way you could include more players without increasing the number of stickers.

Or they could do what they did in 2016 with all player stickers having 2 players. This would allow to add most of the team's squad and especially the top teams that have more than 18 top players...

First of all, I’d like to see the collection coming out in October. Then, I’d like at least 18 players per team, including the play-off teams. I’d like to see standard photos, rather than action shots or players making gestures like last year.

Or they could do what they did in 2016 with all player stickers having 2 players. This would allow to add most of the team's squad and especially the top teams that have more than 18 top players...

The one and only problem for this: last time we have big stickers in 2021/22 season. And put two players per one standard sticker is not good from my PoV. Better have imprinted players.

Anyway, I think that at first step we need to have thicker album. 96 pages. Then we could discuss content for this album. But since we have 76-80 pages album, then definetely everything remain at same level. With 1 page (12 stickers) per play-off team, and 16 stickers max for other teams.
