Last year you complained massively about teams that were not updated, etc. Now you ask in mid-August, before it is even clear who will finally take part in the group stage, about the new collection.

simply because topps is used to showing previews of its products even a long time ago. I didn't write about wanting to see the finished product but I asked if there were NEWS, by news I mean "prototypes, launch date, album cover". I think it is legitimate to ask one month after launch. If you don't know, the album has been paginated and created since June when there are already many qualified teams, which is why the last 6 pages (those of the playoffs) are all the same. Once the album has been paginated, in case of transfer, all you have to do is remove the photo of the transferred player or the writing of him. It takes 10 minutes.

Topps might wait till the summer transfer window finishes, or even wait till the draw for the CL group stage happens before putting any previews out.

Well, even though @Ole is right about your complaining... I agree with you, Topps have already defined how the album will be, so many times we have something leaked from the album or stickers... but we're not expecting anything great, are we?

I don't believe in neither of that. They will wait as long as possible, but judging from past seasons, they finish the album before summer transfers (and before playoff teams). Later they will print the playoff stickers and perhaps some teams they couldn't reach an agreement in time (like italian teams last year).

I don't know if this is true either, but I heard somewhere that this might the last album that Topps do for the CL. Maybe because their contract runs out, and Panini might take their place for making it next year - it would be a welcome move if it were true.

UEFA makes 3-year contracts and Topps just renewed past season, so we should expect at least 3 more seasons from Topps.

However, Topps was on the verge to not renew before the pandemic, but as we've seen an "investment" surge for rookies and top players, Topps took advantage of it. Their revenues last year were the biggest ones, which allowed them to even "snatch" UEFA Euro licensing from Panini.

for now nothing is known, friend. As Dantzig also said, topps always gave us previews of the stickers, date, cover of the album but this year nobody knows anything. Even the distributors know nothing about it. I hope they are working well and I am sure that last year's poorly updated album was just a sporadic thing due to the pandemic. Having renewed the partnership with UEFA for the production of ucl, uel and conference products, they will have to provide the best product to make customers happy.

No mate..we are waiting for some info.
On the contrary! Now I remember something, ten days ago, topps italia answered a question in which I asked for info on the release of the ucl stickers, they replied "soon!"

No worries though, as long they release an updated collection. Based on what Topps told me some days ago, that will happen. In the meantime, I'm having fun with the MA set.

I too, this year I have dedicated myself to MA, a wonderful collection.
As for the stickers, two hours ago Topps Italia answered my question about the champions stickers. Reply? "We are almost there"

similar response to another user on facebook with: "Soon we will give you the release date of this collection too"
