Topps Match Attax UEFA Champions + Europa League 2020/21

This is odd... No one here wrote about this set?

Anyway, again with same different editions (UK, Germany/International, Iberian and Italian).

Cards looking simple and nice too. Lots of products to buy, tins look lovely again. Lots of limiteds to collect too, most silver and bronze with Topps promos in their websites.

One thing you'll notice right away (well, I didn't ) is the lack of italian teams. According to Topps, those teams failed to send all necessary info to be featured in this set, but they'll appear in the italian version, released in November.

Iberian edition, the one I'm collecting now, has Porto and the three spanish EL teams as exclusives. Not sure if there's more differences to other versions, possibly there are.

Overall, the checklist is again quite confusing. Teams with 18, 16, 12, 10, 5 cards... In the binder it'll look strange. I know one reason why Porto just has 12 cards, it was the club itself who didn't want more because of market transfers. Others with less cards may be because Topps didn't want to pay much.

Anyway, again another incomplete MA set, but it's been like that for years, even when Panini had the licensing.

Interesting info regarding italian teams, thank you! I am very happy that at the end Topps will include the italian teams in the Italy edition. And I hope that they will include some italian players on the booster pack instead of taking the same as the other versions, also as info that there is something different in the edition.
Regarding UK and German versions: I only noticed little differences between the two versions, only the Pro Select Mega Tin and the Power Play cards in the UK edition, did you notice more differences?

Another boring unimaginative collection compared to the FIFA365 & Prem League by Panini.

The sub-sets must have been chosen by an amateur because they are the most hideous ones ever.
Sixteen of each SP & RS+ 26 MOM + 5 HH + 11 One Hundred Clubs and bob's your uncle. Done as dinner.

Furthermore, they couldn't be arsed to make the MOM & HH in different designs. Instead, both have the teal cracked ice design. Hat trick heroes should be a unique special card because there is only 5 players who scored Hatricks in the CL last season.

What about the the team badges and how shit they are? Make them a shiny to add brightness to each team page instead of making them base like the other team cards.

Positives: Base designs are nice and simple. One Hundred Clubs have improved. I like the design on them.

Overall, another wish washy release by Topps. Am sure some of them come here and lurk cos they have contacted me in the past. You are getting paid to do a job but sadly, you have failed once again in giving your loyal collectors/customers something worth the money.

Didn't check UK vs Germany differences, I did check now UK vs Iberian... seems this time iberian has 76 cards more (4 more spanish teams + Porto).

There's also a difference in Atletico special cards (new kits), as seen here.

I checked now Atletico differences and iberian edition has a different checklist... For example, I have Llorente as ATM12, in UK he is ATL10... Notice the acronym difference too.

But what's more "amazing" is that spanish Topps added in the checklist the UK version of Atletico cards... so basically we only know the players when they come out.

This set has some serious problems... main problem for me is how City and Tottenham cards only come out in booster packs. All tins and battle packs don't bring any of those cards.

In iberian edition, there's also no exclusive cards in tins. So basically, in this edition, you can't find around 100 cards in products with predefined lots. It's like buying the international version, except iberian tins do have the new Atletico cards.

Opened today the Advent Calendar for this, first time it was released there... and it could have stayed unreleased, because it's rubbish.

Amazing how Topps believes this is a decent product to be released. Just one limited, 5-card packets again without City, Spurs or any of the exclusive (in case you don't know, only way to get those cards is by buying packs from display boxes).

Just like US Elections, I can finally call it: this season is the absolute WORST Match Attax collection ever made. Design doesn't save it. Everyone is now looking for cards of the teams mentioned above. Topps doesn't let you know they did not include those cards in all extra products. And the (rotten) cherry on top of the cake is the shitty AC product.

Whoever did this set should be slapped and fired. And reimburse all buyers for all money wasted, mostly in those yellow cards who come out too much. What a mess.

Thanks, but that is not the point here. I can easily complete later by ordering those cards. Not worried by that. I'm worried about how Topps messed up so badly this set and not even warned collectors they would not get all cards by buying extra products. Tins, Multipacks, Battle Packs, Advent Calendars, none of this brings 20% of the set.

From the last year, Topps includes some important teams that play in Europa League. That is to say, this season 20-21, is the second.

You mean in the app? Real cards? App has all teams, real cards you only get those teams if you buy packs in the country. La Liga and Porto only in Spain/Portugal, italian teams only in Italy. Last year was the same.

There are 3 versions of this collection:
1- UK and German / International version.
2- Iberian version. It is the UK version plus 5 teams from Portugal and Spain: Granada FC, FC Porto, Real Sociedad, Sevilla FC and Villarreal CF
3- Italian version: I think it is the UK version plus 7 Italian teams
