A friend tipped me off last Friday to take a look at the /vst/ board on 4chan, and what I found there was quite alarming. It seems that Topps, the well-known company specializing in collectible trading cards for sports, entertainment, and more, may have experienced a significant security breach. Based on the original post and the follow-up replies from the same user, an individual or group claims to have infiltrated Topps' digital management system. This unauthorized access allegedly allowed them to extract a substantial number of source files related to their trading card designs, including assets for current products as well as unreleased future cards that haven't hit the market yet. To share these purportedly stolen materials, the poster provided a download link: https://gofile.io/d/G2RWeo. If this turns out to be legitimate, it could have serious implications for Topps' intellectual property and the broader collectibles community, potentially leading to spoilers, counterfeits, or other issues, though, of course, such claims on anonymous forums should always be approached with caution until verified by official sources.
