Panini's description:-
"Now the official collectible licensee to the Premier League, Panini is delighted to bring consumers a new era of collectibles and a prime collecting experience with commemorative newspaper sticker collection.
The new Panini Tabloid Sticker Collection is an opportunity to relive a breathtaking Premier League season with stickers, stunning imagery, special features and superstats. QR codes on the album pages can be scanned to gain exclusive access to video montages of the season’s most dramatic moments.
A starter pack includes an album and 20 stickers, while packets will contain five stickers each.
The collection will be backed by a multi-channel marketing campaign, with sampling nationwide including a broad range of Premier League clubs, soccer schools, academies and community programmes. There will be a heavyweight digital marketing campaign plus an integrated PR and social media campaign including activation with the Premier League clubs and key influencers.
Widespread support for retail will include POS and retail sampling initiatives.
This is the first of three exciting Premier League collectibles launches this year for Panini, with the Adrenalyn XL Trading Card Collection and Sticker Collection to come."
Brilliant idea clearly inspired by the Calciatori sticker album section "il film del campionato".
Panini means serious business starting off like that. The biggest & best league in the world deserves better than the rubbish Topps were serving for the last few years.
Panini recognises that and responded with a belting idea. I will defo get this one.

If Topps only was this serious as it is with the dozens of variations they produce and place to sell in their website, then we would have a serious contender for Panini... Unfortunately, Topps has ruined many collector's trust in them (like me) with all the mistakes, mostly this year.

Panini UK on Instagram is already teasing:

Absolutely ruined it.
IMO only the CL collection has improved year after year from Topps.
As if they are not creative enough to do 2 good products in 1 season like the Prem & CL.
The website mishaps is unprofessional. Pure & simple. No other way to describe it.
This new Panini Tabloid one looks lovely. Can't wait to see more info about it.

Coming soon to the blog, I will have a new review of this collection! Just searching for sticker #108 to complete it! ;)
Nice one, am only 4 short of finishing it having bought 1 full box in the hope of having the full set. Sadly, I looked at all my doubles but I don't have 108 for ya Bob.

The 10 packets I've opened also didn't have that 108 sticker... But seems a full box is not enough then to complete? Doesn't like shinies here are rare, so it shouldn't be too difficult to complete right away.

EDIT: Ok forget it, shinies are more rare than normal ones, I saw it now... 108 is a shiny too.
Do you know where on the net I could buy boxes and starter packs from Italy? ;)
From Italy or TO Italy? On ebay you already have some decent deals, though shipping from UK can be expensive.

Perhaps trying your luck with Panini Italy? Because boxes selling in Panini UK website are coming from Italy.

Oh yes, delivery to Italy ;)

Indeed I hope that Panini will sell the boxes online sooner or later (I mean in the international shop at least).
Meanwhile I'll buy a couple of starter packs.

Since it's a domestic collection, not sure if Panini International will sell boxes/packets/album... But now they usually let you order missing stickers from domestic leagues, so I suppose they'll do the same for this set.

But on ebay, there's already boxes selling around the same RRP in UK, even with that expensive ebay Global Shipping.

Plenty more deals, but sadly with delivery to UK only.

I thought it would be easy to finish 120 sticker album so I only bought 1 box. You should see the amount of doubles I have. Some stickers I already have 4 or 5 off, while 4 of them never came out. I only got one #108 sticker.
Looks like it will be another tough year to finish Panini collections even when it's a new one.

I can go deep about why you have so many doubles from certain stickers, but won't bother you all with it :p

I got 7 shinies out of the 10 packets I opened, so if this is some sort of average, then to get all 24, at least I have to open around 35 packets... But it should be just 24 (24x5=120), so I'm almost certain shinies are indeed rare.

Will let you know all what I got from what I'll receive.

Explains why a single box is not enough. I have many doubles will keep them in case you need some. :)

Thanks, will keep that in mind :)

Even with shiny more rare and such, a box should have all stickers, unless Panini devised some insertion pattern (probably in shinies) where it's not possible to get all 120 in 50-packet box.

Well, even with this "hiccup", I have good expectations for Premier League album, this Tabloid set was a very cool idea to bring back many sticker collectors in UK.

Agree. It's way overdue for Panini to take over from Topps. I remember the good old days when I used to go the local newsagent and buy the packets & the album with the famous Panini Logo.
I will temper my expectations in regards to the sticker collection but my god if they do one like Calciatori they will need to open another Panini factory to produce them for the Uk collectors who will go absolutely nuts for it. :D

Ahah, hope will be massive indeed... I know that UK sometimes has shortage of stock in stores and even in Panini UK (good example was Women World Cup, out of stock quickly in many places), but Panini knows this will be big and in Italy, they will have to work like it's a Euro Cup (or eve a World Cup!).

I don't think it'll be similar to Calciatori though... I believe Championship has different rights than Premier League, unlike Serie B vs Serie A... Not sure though.
