Searching for digital trading cards!

Hello collectors out there!

I recently started to collect digital and blockchain-based football, baseball and formula 1 trading cards, but I am also interested in cards from all kinds of other sports. Is anyone familiar with blockchain and knows some cool websites, collection games or trading platforms for such collectibles except the ones that I have found so far: OpenSea, stryking.io and F1 Delta Time?

Would be happy to hear from you and your experiences.

Hello, welcome to the forums :)

About blockchain technology, there was an app where you could get cool official virtual stuff from Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund, but I can't remember the name now... well, it would be free advertising for them, which is not acceptable, so just google and certainly you'll find it.

Digital albums you have Fantom, which creates a lot of digital albums from various collections. Most notorious are the Champions League ones from Topps, quite fun to collect without paying a cent. Just search again in google for them, as they won't appear in Fantom homepage (most doesn't).

Panini also has their digital collections. They usually do a partnership with FIFA for world cup albums (since 2010), but now they also have their own platform, which you can use in computer or as an app. For now, they have spanish league, Borussia Dortmund 19/20 and Road Euro 2020.

I am also glad to be here. Thank you for the warm welcome and all the information. :D
This is some cool and exciting stuff. I didn't know them yet and will definitely take a closer look at. Which ones do you collect?

Just for my understanding: Is it not allowed to talk about certain apps in these forums as you said it would be unacceptable to mention them or is it simply because this is no blockchain forum?

I used all of them, though I'm still one of those guys that find it hard to pay for any virtual collectible. :p There's plenty of cases though where these blockchain apps are delivering some neat ideas worth of paying (in the blockchain app I used, I particularly liked the fact of some exclusive videos and screen autographs written by the players).

I always try the new digital albums appearing, most of them are shared here in the collections threads. Even now I'm using Panini's app because I'm still collecting there Road Euro 2020... You can pay for more coins, so more packets quickly, but unlike those ideas in blockchain apps, there's no real motive to pay for that.

Our forum rules state that you cannot promote anything unless it's relevant to our members. You can refer blockchain apps, as long you're not clearly promoting them (like you wrote before, giving examples of websites/apps that you thought it was interesting). You'll see many websites and online shops references here because they were important for our members to find what they asked or wanted.

Simply put, just enjoy your stay here, sharing your thoughts about our hobby :)
