Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games Panini Sticker Album

The official illustrated sticker album for the Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games was launched on Wednesday (25 May) at a star-studded ceremony at the Olympic city's glitzy horse-racing track. The album and stickers will go on sale in Brazil on Friday (3 June).

To complete the 56 pages of the album, collectors will have to hunt down a total of 374 stickers. The majority of the stickers are of Brazilian athletes who will be competing at Rio 2016, plus other Brazilians who made their mark at previous Games, such as swimmer Ricardo Prado, silver medallist at Los Angeles 1984.

The Rio 2016 organising committee has produced the album in partnership with Italian publishing group Panini. The publishers expect to sell more than a million copies across Brazil.

I found news, on this week issue of Topolino (the Italian version of Mickey Mouse), that with next week issue we'll get a copy of a new sticker collection named ITALIA TEAM RIO 2016.
It will be composed of 315 stickers (including 40 metal stickers) and 45 trading cards dedicated to Italian athletes who will be competing at Rio 2016.

This collection comes unexpected, but I'm waiting eagerly for it

According to the voucher I got with Topolino the date of release of Italia Team Rio 2016 collection is tomorrow.

So the price of the packets is the same than Tex collection.

Album out! Starter pack includes album + 5 packets (4 stickers + 1 card inside)

I will write a review as soon as I can (next week), anyway we have

315 stickers big size
40 special stickers (laminated or similars, I still didn't open packets )
45 cards

the album is really nice! there are pages for many sports (also badminton and golf!)

last part of album has space for 36 udpates! (for example we still don't know if Italy basket team take part or not, qualifications will be in july) and these updates will be for free ordering missing stickers or cards at Panini (like was in the beginning for Calciatori update)

cards don't find place in the album, we don't have sheet like was for TEX album

price of packet: 1,00 eur
box: 50 packets

Can you provide some insight on the numbers? Are the 40 special stickers part of the 315 total stickers? And what about the 36 update stickers?

Because I see three possibilities:
315 "standard" stickers + 40 special + 36 update -> 391 overall
275 "standard" stickers + 40 special + 36 update -> 351 overall
239 "standard" stickers + 40 special + 36 update -> 315 overall

Ideally you could tell us which numbers are printed inside the album on the sticker spaces. Is there any "0" or "00" sticker in the front/back?

Stickers numbered 1-315 including specials + update numbered a1-a35 .. cards are a part, no place for the album, not like with TEX album

I really don't understand why Panini didn't arrange for some special holder sheets for the cards, as it was with Tex album.
