POCKET ALBUMS WC and EC

Panini has produced different pocket albums about some editions of World Cup and Euro Cup. I got these ones, i'm not sure at all if there are more, maybe someone can help me

World Cup

GERMANY 2006

1st version - Red cover - 323 stickers - includes tournament calendar and palmares


2nd version - grey cover - 144 stickers - includes tournament calendar


SOUTH AFRICA 2010

196 stickers - includes tournament calendar



Euro Cup

PORTUGAL 2004

252 mini stickers - includes tournament calendar

* there are variant about front covers, mine is italian with written gratis, other version is without

AUSTRIA/SUISSE 2008

1st version - 192 stickers

* there are also here different editions, you can recognize by first sticker printed in the cover. In Italy was Gattuso, in France was Rosicky (in my copy is last one at the end)
** only one i don't have complete, is very rare. Stickers were given for free with chewingum and of course (at least here) the Italy team players are hard to find, probably because kids use to attach somewhere...

2nd version - 180 stickers


All different albums were sold as complete sets, the only one as i wrote was Euro 2008 (192 stickers version)

I know there are, also, mini binders for Match Attax collections too. I do not have any of these mini presentations.

@Caniggia I am okay with this being here. I do not think there is much to be said about these in terms of variations, etc. Its a good list.
Should it be about WC and EC only? There are many other pocket albums. I am especially interested in Merlins Calciatori 2005 mini which is one of my favorite for no particular reason.

I just wrote about WC and EC because i collect only these and being collectors from all round the world could be more interesting for everybody, i know also Merlin has printed some pocket albums about Serie A, i have also one from 70's about Cagliari.. there are many, I agree. Good aim or beginning could be to know if album mentioned by me are all about WC and EC or some is missing

I have some questions about AUSTRIA/SUISSE 2008 (1st version - 192 stickers)

Here are the 2 versions front covers :

Italian edition (blue stripe)



Germany/Netherlands edition (green stripe) (what Caniggia called French version which is not to my opinion)




I have the complete german edition but never seen the Italian edition and I would love to know if there are some variations. @Caniggia : could you post some scans and I'll do the same ?

Well, The mini Euro 2008 Album (green stripe version) has been launched in Spain too (or only ? Now I'm not sure) ;

caniggia wrote that all of these albums were sold as complete sets, i cant agree with this, i do have all of them. and i´m pretty sure that just grey version of 2006, 2010 version and the yellow-black box of 2008 were complete.
2006 red version, 2004 and 2008 1st version were sold in single packages, maybe not everywhere.
2008 version had singel chewinggums.
2006 red and 2004 had packages with 2 chewinggums each with 1 sticker inside and 2 sheets of stickers.

Also i have 2 "albums" (is a sheet that you fold is like a small album). One is in Spanish and other is in English. It was released by Lays Chips patatoes.

This collection has also been released in Romania with the Brand "Cheetos". In Spain, it has been released with the brand "Bollycao".

I imagine it's gonna be a hard and long way to complete it (something not so sad for a collector

right! in Italy there was 3 different mini albums if I remember but i don't have.. for the moment
