Lovely looking stickers. Vey innovative and different. Love to get a Dirk Kuyt one. Legend player when he was with us at LFC.

Yeah, the stickers are very different than usual, but they're... "light"? And light here is good :)

But only 10 players (and a badge) per team. That's a bit poorly.... For instance, John Heitinga who hardly played for Ajax (and now stopped playing at all) is in it, but not Dijks or Gudelj. But after 2 years after no Eredivisie issue at all I won't complain too much ;)

Interesting concept, thanks Manfred. Do you get to choose your stickers or the cashier will give you randomly?

No randomly. For adults it's hard to complete such collection this way. Often kids are begging for it from customers. It is easier to complete a set buying it from kids. That is how I got a complete collection 3 years ago.

haha too funny. an adult paying money to kids for stickers.
may I ask why they do it that way? why not just sell the products in packets at newsagents?

Isn't it obvious? The set contains 198 stickers, a sticker pack has 3 stickers, so in the best case you need 66 packs which means you have to buy for € 660 euro in their shop. Actually the sale is higher, if you spend € 29,95 you still get only 2 sticker packs. :(

It is actually a set of 216 stickers: 198 players and 18 club badges.
I guess it is also because in Netherlands stickers don't sell well (or don't sell at all) so Panini is not really interested in the market

When was the last issue for Eredivisie stickers? I know that for Panini it was in 2005, but after? I've got three Plus albums (2006, 07, 08) and three AH (2009, 10, 11); nothing more?

yes you are correct..there is a Plus Eredivisie album of cards for 2012, a Plus game card set for 2013 and then nothing for the last two years.
The last sticker album is from 2011

About the kids :
In 1994 when i was collecting the Navarrete WC album it was mostly adults that i could trade with in La Paz , Bolivia, in one of the main plazas. Afterwards i crossed into Peru and i noticed there was another album, very similar. I started collecting that also. But in Peru i could only find kids. For a few days i was trading with them, they also loved to do the same with this strange moustached gringo. The last day i did my last trade with them and i was off, feeling very happy about the album. When i wanted to check my pile of stickers in my pocket i realized they relieved me off my weight completely, did not leave one sticker to me. In Peru - or in south america - generally you dont stop being alert for one second about your camera, your backpack..and your stickers also. I didnt know whether to get upset or to laugh.
