Hi guys,

I saw there was a lot of chit-chat about this world championship in the 2015 thread, so i figured it might be interesting to creat a seperate thread about it (since i didn't find one that already excisted, if it does plz show me the way ;) ).

2 weeks ago i bought the full set for 199 euro. I first thought it was to much, but after a quick calculation and some research i guess it's worth it.
Empty album: 10 euro
Stickers (not rare/300*0,10): 30 euro
Stickers (rare/30*3-5 euro): 120 euro

So seperate that would have been around 160 euro (feel free to comment on my calculation)
Not to forget the postage you have to pay to buy all these things seperatly, so i think i made a good deal.

I did not collect this album but your calculation seems to be right, beside the fact the price seems incredible for an album that is only 4 years old.... I now it is rare, but c'mon...

This thread is not in this section... But it's also not in 2002-2010... Great, women always ruining men things :p

Something happened with this collection for having about 30 stickers much rarer than others... I know Panini produces more quantity from certain stickers, but what happened here was ridiculous... Either there was a robbery in Panini or someone bought a lot of these stickers... This "sold out quickly" thing also happened in a portuguese league collection, with some shinies and latest acquisitions stickers being sold out not even 1 year after the release and, by "coincidence", it was also at the same time, 2011/12... I have a lot of possible scenarios in my mind, but only Panini can clarify it.

Hello guys!
I have found in a group of some stickers that I forgot the rare number 21 "Mönchengladbach" for this collection; if someone needs it, tell me something.

I bought it only 50 Euro in August 2011 on ebay; at the beginning, I told myself "it's just women, I don't care, I can take my time" and finally I decided to buy it! What a great idea I had this day^^
A question: do you have some scan of number 214? I know that there is a problem because it's the same girl of 206? Is there an update sticker?

Moreover, is it still possible to find the booklet REWE with the stadiums (and with number 9 Frankfurt)? Or is it just a dream for rich people?

Thank you! I just have the original with error in my album; anyway, every sticker from North Korea is an error in this album; bad photos from ID card with the shirt added with Photoshop^^

This edition is one of my absolute favourites. Two years ago i still found a few sealed sets with album for only 40€ each.

Nowadays the rates for some of these stickers are really incredible. One single sticker (Desiree Scott - Nr. 61) got recently sold for even 40€. And there are more stickers of the same category like Karla Kick (Nr. 6), Natalia Ariza (224), Natalia Gaitan (225), USA badge (178), Stadium Frankfurt (330+331). Plus many more stickers in the region of 20-25€ each. A sealed box (with 50 packets) can currently be purchased for about 150-200€, loose sets + empty album for 200-300€. It´s all due to the tiny edition that was only released in Germany.

Lucky who has enough items of this edition in stock..

Honestly i would wait for bargain opportunities regarding to this edition. With good luck a sticker like Scott can be still found less 20€. Single stickers are only useful if you are already close to a complete set. A complete set less 180€ will become difficult nowadays but it´s still possible (and much cheaper than buying rare stickers individual). The last boxes for about each 100€ i found about 3 months ago ( i guess that was just luck).

Hello @Garuda and @Toshunya86
I'd say be patient on the items as I bought a sealed box for €38 this year in an auction. I think it was listed incorrectly so possibly only myself had spotted it.

Having said that if you want to finish the collection risk-free the big prices may need to be paid in case the prices hold up.

I like the collection too and long may it continue for future world cups. The more variation from Panini the better.

Hello collectors,

I'm researching this collection online and there is one thing that is bugging me because I can't find any information about it. Collection is expensive but one can at least find some sellers online, but what happened with the stadium number 9 in REWE set of stadiums, why is it so rare (impossible to find)?

I was only able to find one photo of the sticker online and a few sellers that offer stickers 1-8. If anybody has any information about the REWE number 9 sticker it would be really interesting to hear it.

Thank you in advance for any information.

There are lots of problems with some stickers, from the collection (about 30 stickers were out of stock very quickly), and with this sticker from REWE poster (Frankfurt Stadium). Nobody knows what happened.
Lots of sellers or collectors think even that this number 9 never exists, because there are 8 stickers and a special ticket which is often presented like the number 9.

Thank you for your answer.

It does exist, I know that, but I was/am looking to add a loose REWE set to my collection, but I guess that will not happen.

It is strange because to claim an award (at a time) one would need to complete and mail the whole set of 9 stickers, so it is really strange that today only one sticker out of 9 would be rare. But I have to admit that awards were much better than today (with FIFA 365 tins and stuff like that), so I guess that is why a whole REWE/DB set is rare as it was actually used for what it was intended... to claim an award.
