Nothing with 365. Only 366 and that's the number of stickers ;)

But otherwise your last point is probably the closest. Somehow the gap has to be filled, in which a tournament collection usually appears. I would call it a solid collection that you can have fun with as long as you don't start to question the meaning behind it (which, of course, long-time collectors do). We've certainly seen much better collections from Panini, but we've also seen worse ones lately.

Agree with the part of "filling the gap" but the more I see this one, the more I think it's definitely an european 365... main part of 365 are the "top" clubs so there you go, this is a minimalistic 365, probably not updated with the winter market too.

The players design is, without a doubt (going to be nice because I don't remember all) among the WORST top 5 I've ever seen... the left side with the green and half players face makes me want to vomit the cake and yogurt I ate now and that was damn good to eat!

The hell Panini, you want to start copying Topps with 436525 collections per year? At least also copy their prices, you greedy bastards!

Am I seeing the other half of players face in the album? So that AMAZING green bar is actually in the middle of a players face?

I need to stop watching this or besides throwing up, I'll also get nightmares with this!

As for the rest, looks decent, I guess... travelers looks like a transfers spin-off disguised with kms stats.

P.S - But seriously my friends, what's the obsession there in Panini with the puke green?

Just Why, Panini. Why.
Why not..?!
Probably Panini had Superleague already planned..:p;)
If you don’t like the idea, just don’t buy it.
And if you ask about the meaning: Collecting stickers itself is senseless, just like collecting sneakers, cars, etc..

I don't mind the release but they could've used different teams. All 14 teams featured were in FIFA365.
Would be nice to have some Nordic teams or Eastern Europe apart from Shakthar D.
Design wise tough to judge from (not so clear) pictures so I will judge when the stickers are in my hands.

Maybe only for German market, because the Bundesliga collection is published by Topps (joke!)
Coutinho still in Barcelona in the album... Even me I think I won't collect this !!!

Well, I do mind when they make horrible sticker designs and still have the nerve to charge the same or more than better and meaningful collections... but in the end, people do whatever they want with their money.

cruel joke....maybe next they gonna release an album call top rookie...
Oh I bet they are thinking of it... but only rookies from top teams, they don't have the licensing for the rest :p

Definitely looks like german market only, exactly to counter Topps Bundesliga, it's clear they didn't even bother to wait for the winter transfers.

Never thought I'd see Topps knocking Panini out of the park so easily, 10x0 for Bundesliga stuff.

As far as I have heard, Top Class will not be an exclusive product for Germany. It only starts there first. And certainly not as a product that competes with the Bundesliga. Definitely more as a product against the Champions League (at least outside the UK). If it is even intended as a product against something else.

The transfer windows are no longer taken into account anyway, since Topps and Panini have been in a race, especially in the UK, to see who is first on the market. It will hardly be a coincidence that the PL Plus and the MA Extra Cards have the same release date (February 17th). Just look at the new Premier League Plus Cards. Data from last year without the transfers from the winter. So now in the UK they sell a Premier League card collection with outdated data every six months. But only a few seem to bother.

I wonder if Panini in Italy has even noticed that they are no longer number 1 for many collectors or if they are still living in their dream world of past sales successes.

Album is in german, so I assumed TC would be released only in Germany... let's see where they release more then.

Now I try to avoid even reading anything coming from UK... the customs here are too tight now and let's say they are not fond of letting anything from US or UK go through easily (supposed to be a "retaliation" for those countries tightened their customs too)... anyway, both Panini and Topps do not care for sure to have things updated, their close dates are always before the transfer market closes... and yeah, collectors are at fault too, as they demand collections to be out asap, forgetting there's always some time between the final product and release in stores.

I'm not aware how Panini situation is... sales rumours were true? If so, to whom? What are the goals then? Either way, they look completely disoriented at some stuff... some sets still look absolutely stunning like EPL, but then we have mixed messages with international sales, then this set out of the blue looking like a pure copy of 365 (even the same teams!).

Still, Topps needs to walk a lot to catch Panini's history... and that can save Panini for a while, but not for long.

That's true, but rumor has it that there will probably be translated versions in the respective national languages. So let's see if there's anything to it.

What is your opinion of this collection? Quality wise and design wise? I have not bought it yet but want to see what you lads think before I do.

The quality is top (on FIFA 365 level) and if you like the stickers (which some people have a hard time with) and you don't worry too much about the deeper meaning of the collection, then you can have fun with it. I think you've watched videos about it and already got a first impression.

Personally, I would have liked a little more variety in the special stickers (just one effect), but the shape stickers make up for that a bit. And the size of the box, with only 36 packs, may mean a significantly higher number of double stickers than in other collections.

Maybe you should wait a little longer to see if the collection will be released in other countries, because then, as mentioned, there may also be an international album in English, which would certainly suit you better than the one with the German lyrics. However, there is nothing wrong with starting with the stickers, they should be the same everywhere.
