The only one I am collecting currently is Montreal ´76. Though I was not born then, I really like the content of the album.

Here is the list of the ones I am aware of :
  • Panini Olympia 1896-1972
  • Panini Munchen 72
  • Panini Montreal 76
  • Panini Olympic Games Moscow 80 (Winter)
  • Panini Olympic Games Salt Lake City (Summer)
  • Panini Olympic Games London 2012 (Stickers)
  • Panini Adrenalyn XL Olympic Games London 2012 (Cards)
There are also a few non Panini Editions, that I am not sure I can list. Many beautiful vintage cards-stickers collection has been issued in Germany in 40´s, 50´s and 60´s. Some black and white, some in color.

Do you have any photos/scans or whatever from the ones listed?
Maybe we can list them all with the cover page?

I can confirm the existence of the 1980 Moscow Olympics album from Panini. It says "Goofy Olympique" on the cover. There's also another album called "Goofy Sport" that has a lot of stickers of Olympic athletes and some with cartoons if Goofy participating in the sports. I believe they're two different sets, but can't confirm. I only have the "Goofy Sport" album.

Are we sure of the existence of the Salt Lake City set? I've never heard of it (for whatever that's worth). LOL

Does anybody have a list of the different editions of the issues? For example:

--1976 there was the "regular" international issue and at least one other issue printed by Decje Novine (for Panini) in Yugoslavia. The album has different countries/distributors listed on the back, but I believe is otherwise identical. The packets list different distributors on the back as well. However, since Decje Novine actually PRINTED the stickers this year as well as distributed them the unstuck stickers actually have completely different backs than the "regular" issue. While the different distributor albums and packets could be considered relatively minor, since I also collect sets of the stickers unstuck from the albums, the different sticker backs create two completely separate sets (at least to me).

--1972 also had an edition distributed by Dečje Novine. It also had an album that listed other countries/distributors on the back and different distributors listed on the packet. However, in this year Decje Novine was just a distributor and not a printer, so the stickers (front and back) were identical to the "regular" issue.

Does anybody have a complete list of all the different distributor editions and different printer editions for all the Panini issues? I collect the Olympic, Skiing, All-Sport and Cycling sets. (Basically all Olympic-type sport sets.) Thanks!!

Those edition that you talk, 72 and 76, is like World Cup albums. Cover albums there are some difference (especially language) but i don't know about stickers and backs. About packets are different price and language. I am trying to get all editions but is difficult. I am agree about Moscow 80, exist 2 versions i guess but i miss all. Sometimes i looking for but are expensive on Ebay.
I am happy to find here people who collect olympic albums. Do you know something about Rio 2016?

I haven't heard anything yet about 2016 Olympic sticker sets, but I know Topps (U.S ) is issuing a 2016 Olympic card set (similar to their 2012 and 2014 sets).

The Topps set comes out in May.

Good morning,

Concerning the Olympic Games München 72 album, more specific the sticker packets, does anyone know how many version sticker packets there are?

When I look in my collection, I found following versions:
-Italy L20
-Italy omaggio
-Belgium/Holland
-Portugese
-Swiss
-German 2 versions: 10 PF and one packet with all the sports on the backside

I know there is also a Decje Novine version and a free French version (echantillon gratuit).
Are there still other versions?

Best Regards St

Is there a collection for Tokyo Olympics?
I guess it would have been advertised by now, but maybe I've missed it.

I know there is one for the Italian Team called "Super Champs", but it's not Panini, and one for the German Team, called Team Deutschland, printed by Panini.
I don't know about others.

If you are still looking for answers to your question, according to the book "Album di figurine: Special Panini 1961-1980" there is at least one other Italian variation. It is described as "variante con dicitura autoadesive". This packet variation has the words "4 FIGURINE AUTOADESIVE" above the price "L. 20".

For me "Goofy Olympic' is not an album for Moscow 80. It's a Disney movie issued the same year, and they tried to propose some stickers about the Moscow Olympic Games but it's not really official, like for the Superstars 88.
