I really didn't like the last set of these for the Qatar World Cup - let's hope this one is better.

You searched for FIFA WM 2026 - durchgeknallt – Top Media e.K. https://share.google/S1YdmXKpHdYnd1yNR
I found something about sales in Germany.
It tells that the products will be permitted in middle February.
That's a good find, thanks! It even says there the update set coming out in April.

I guess the prices stays the same? Booster with 8 cards for around 2€, premium stuff for 5€ pack, 10 for gold... Dream Box looks cool with the legends!

My WC hype is the lowest ever thanks to certain events, but at least Panini is taking this seriously... hope it's not a flop like previous WC sets.

Very good find and also confirmation of how they are doing the play-off teams:
  • 8 cards per booster
  • 633 Trading Cards + Limited Edition Cards
  • 417 Base Cards + 216 Special Cards (including Momentum Cards)
  • 15 Card Subsets
  • 5 different card types & materials
  • 42 qualified teams + 22 play-off teams in a reduced format

Not cheap are they !!!

If the duplication rates for this collection are anything like they were for the Fifa 365 set, you are going to be buying a lot of packets.

If it is 8 cards in a pack then you get 400 cards for £100 - that's not terrible.

If you get two boxes - you might have most of the collection.

Not for me though.

Someone experienced in Adrenalyn will have to help novices like me with all these boxes and packs
As someone who loved to buy different products because they offered different stuff (usually specific limiteds), it's a lot of fun to buy them... Gone are the days were I even loved to compile where to find limiteds around the world, like this review I wrote for 2018 WC.

Adrenalyn has always been more expensive than stickers, which makes sense as cards cost more to produce.

Unlike Match Attax, Adrenalyn has become easier in the past years. As someone who started in 2014 WC, where completing certain subsets would reach 500 packets in average, it's much more affordable now... Of course, prices does not help, but it's a World Cup, so value is there.

The problem is Panini NEVER did a good AXL WC set, there's always something crucial they fail. 2018 was horrible, 2022 I didn't even bother to collect it because it was damn horrible again... Strangely enough, the last two Euros from Panini (2020 and 2016) were amazing sets, so it's hard to understand how they fail so miserably with World Cups.

Let's see this one, but as always with Panini World Cup sets, I'm not expecting much.

Panini is releasing more products for their Adrenalyn XL last couple of years.

- Dream Box was released for La Liga products 2 or 3 years ago and now makes it's appearance for the WC.
- Special Box was released for this years FIFA365 in Germany only(unless am wrong) and again it could be exclusive to the German collectors this WC
- Pencil Case is a new idea they implemented again for La Liga last season and FIFA365 this season. Over to the WC like the 2 above.
- Eco Blister been done before for FIFA365 and again it's added to this collection.

The rest of the products are repeats from years ago, Gold packs, Premium packs, mini tins, big tin, multi packs, fat packs.

The popularity of the WC has increased because of the 3 host countries. Panini is banking on that and on new collectors buying their AXL collection.

As @dantzig mentioned so well above the WC collections for AXL been average the last editions.

Panini need to up their game for this one or else Fanatics will win the bidding next time around and have full control of the market.

UK Starter edition will have 3 packets(8 cards), 1 random LE card & 1 MESSI golden baller guaranteed. Priced at £8.99.

Can someone write a stupid novice’s guide for collecting the set as cheaply and efficiently as possible?

like what boxes are best to buy to get the most value out of etc..

I’d like to collect this but a bit conscious of it costing north of £200

The first question is going to be the big one. Are you just interested in the cards on the checklist in the binder or are you trying to get all limited edition/premium limited edition/premium gold limited edition/XXL limited edition/momentum etc as well? What level of completion are you looking for?

There will be a Nordic version of this too.

With a collection of this size, even getting all the cards on the checklist is going to cost a minimum of £200 (probably more).

If I were doing it I would get two boxes of 50 packets and then look for swaps.

It will be interesting to see what people are going to be charging for complete sets.

As a beginner in card collection (only done stickers so far), I want to stick to the main collection only. I guess that means filling the main binder with the checklist?

That's easy: don't go into limited stuff, just collect the main set, so buy only starter and displays and do swaps. Same as stickers, just a bit more expensive. Done.

If you still want to got with the limiteds and extra versions (like nordic), then prepare to spend much more.

Considering the rarity of some subsets, two boxes shouldn't be enough... but you can always get them later from Panini too, although higher rarities will be limited to 1 or 2 cards per order.

Yes, that's basically it.. Panini never adds there a limited edition checklist, so you don't feel "obliged" to collect them too.
