No, and not expecting any for 2-3 months.Supposed no news for stickers?
Exactly, as always happens, these collections always have cards of players who are not with their national teams, I don't understand why they always have the habit of releasing these collections as soon as you say there are injured, discarded, etc...Wow that's way to early to release. There will be so many squad changes and injuries to players.
Half the binder will have players who might not make the final squads. Strange greedy decision from Panini.
Clearly want to compete with TOPPS who are releasing 101 next week or so in the UK.
Yeah, we'll have many players there not going to World Cup for sure... but even with stickers, released one or two months later, it's the same situation.Wow that's way to early to release. There will be so many squad changes and injuries to players.

@dantzig You are not far off with your prediction of 9000 LE cards if you add the XXL and exclusives to Hungary, Turkey and Greece although all 3 are not playing in the WC.
Panini always released very early so they can rack up the money from the avid collectors, even more a World Cup... and considering stickers always sell much more than cards, they release Adrenalyn around a month and half before stickers.Exactly, as always happens, these collections always have cards of players who are not with their national teams, I don't understand why they always have the habit of releasing these collections as soon as you say there are injured, discarded, etc...
Yes true 4 months always been a time frame for their releases.Yeah, we'll have many players there not going to World Cup for sure... but even with stickers, released one or two months later, it's the same situation.
Also july release is not that far off the usual time frame from Panini... When WC/Euro is in June, Panini have started to release mid-February, so four months before... now World Cup is in November, so July is also four months before.
Over 9000 was a DBZ joke adaptationDon't forget the nordic stuff too.

I would be satisfied with an update, but that only happened in 2014 for the spanish market.
I don't understand why Panini does this, with how little it would cost to get the collection out when all the players know that it is certain that they are going to go to the World Cup. As you say, it's marketing and that way they make more money because they sell the products of the collection and then the updates.Yeah, we'll have many players there not going to World Cup for sure... but even with stickers, released one or two months later, it's the same situation.

If Panini waited until the final squads were set, the collection would appear after the World Cup (production and distribution also take a certain amount of time). And such collections are mainly bought before the tournament, hardly ever during it and very little afterwards. Therefore, when it comes to collections of this magnitude, there is no other way than to work with certain assumptions.I don't understand why Panini does this, with how little it would cost to get the collection out when all the players know that it is certain that they are going to go to the World Cup. Yes, I totally share your opinion, but there are two extremes, it is not necessary for the collection to come out when it is already being played or 4 months before, the squads that go to the World Cups or European Championships are known a month before the competition begins, but yes that it is true that the manufacturing process and others would be more complicated, thank you.If Panini waited until the final squads were set, the collection would appear after the World Cup (production and distribution also take a certain amount of time). But take a look around here in the forum, there are always enough people who can't wait for every new collection to appear, no matter how up-to-date the players in it are. And as long as that's the case, manufacturers have no reason to wait for specific dates for more detail and accuracy. On the contrary: With the Premier League AXL and Match Attax CL collections, you can see how the dates move to earlier and earlier dates each year, well before the start of the new season.
As @dantzig already said. Surprisingly, the potential of an update has always been left untouched (apart from this small regional exception in 2014). Let's be surprised if Panini uses it this time, since there are now later updates for many of the AXL collections.
Probably something similar to Euro 2020 cards (later labeled Preview due to pandemic), with the playoff teams.Play off contenders... So we will have an Adrenalyn collection with 35 teams. For Russia 2018, we had each team with at least 9 base cards. So what will happen for this year? Will the play off contenders have their insert cards?
Panini UK & Topps UK been sending free personalized gifts boxes to big UK youtubers for a few years now Carlos.Probably something similar to Euro 2020 cards (later labeled Preview due to pandemic), with the playoff teams.
So release is scheduled for July 7th on UK... and this guy already have a full box?
What's wrong with Panini UK? Free Euro 2022 updates, product leaks... what's next, some garage sale on Panini UK HQ?
EDIT: Jealously asideThe cards look absolutely stunning! Ratios are quite acceptable too, looks much easier than 2018... do we finally get a decent AXL WC set?
My point was about a 10 day leak from a youtuber, nothing more... pretty sure his videos and adverts gave Panini some great extra revenues, to the extent of allowing him to post this early such an exclusive video... I still remember one german youtuber had to remove his video from a certain AXL set (years ago, can't recall which set was) because it was 1 or 2 days earlier than Panini official release... Yes, I know, different Panini business models and the UK is better for engagement.Panini UK & Topps UK been sending free personalized gifts boxes to big UK youtubers for a few years now Carlos.
This lad Jack even been to Panini headquarters in Kent to do adverts and even got to touch the Premier League trophy.
As for the collection. It is nice but all Power cards have the same design with the small cracked Ice design in the background. The team badges, FF & Gold are lovely, mind. Even the base cards look well made.
The Legend sub-set is a nice addition.
On the other hand, the Invincible card is disappointing. I know they are being politically correct since it's the WC and want to include players from different continents but come on. The BIG 2 we all want so see are not included.
This could well be their last participation in the WC and they are not even in the Top Master sub-set instead in the Legends. Very dodgy decision from Panini.
The Contenders sub-set is a debatable one. Fans of the playoff countries will be happy but Panini could have waited a little longer then add Australia, Costa Rica & Wales. But once again it's all about the bottom line as we all know.
Looks like many will finish with this collection by September and have nothing to do for the WC.
I'm pretty sure Panini gave the green light for the lad to show the video. A leak that will help increase their PRE-Orders.My point was about a 10 day leak from a youtuber, nothing more... pretty sure his videos and adverts gave Panini some great extra revenues, to the extent of allowing him to post this early such an exclusive video... Anyway, I just checked first minutes and didn't want to go further, as I want to leave some surprises for myself... Ronaldo as Legend actually suits him better than Top Master, he's not among them now.
I guess Panini finally realized that even if it's a World Cup, it's better to have decent sales with much better pull ratios... also UNL and Topps european licensing might be another reason for them to finally compete with an affordable WC set.
Sure Panini did, he even said in the comments that he'll try to get a starter pack from them asap... Panini UK went rogue, first with the free Euro 2022 updates, now with this... Funny that Panini UK was always among the cheapskate Panini, just a few limiteds... Expecting Poland and nordics again to unleash limiteds madnessI'm pretty sure Panini gave the green light for the lad to show the video. A leak that will help increase their PRE-Orders.
Ronaldo & Messi in the Legend sub-sets is fitting but would've been nice to have them at least in the Invincible card.
Good to see the price point at 1.80/pack for 8 cards in the UK. Will be tons of doubles in a box of 400 cards but at least with the other different products like tins & multi packs we can get different cards.
Judging from overall views and feedback I get Panini still #1 among collectors world wide.
