Euro 84 is the second album that was released by Panini featuring Euro Cup tournament. Sticker collection has 1-258 stickers, 32 page sticker album.

Collection issued prior to this one was Euro 80.

Each team includes 25 stickers.
  • 4x puzzle stickers that form a team photo
  • 1x emblem, badge
  • 1x manager (coach)
  • 19x players
I will be soon writing more about this collection on our main blog, analyzing content and reviewing it entirely.

Album Variations :
There are not many different versions and front/back cover variations of Panini Euro 84 album. Bellow are the ones fellow collectors have gathered, and I just put them all together.

Yugoslav version has a Decje Novine sign above the UEFA logo on the front, and the Yugoslavian flag at the bottom (no other flags, as collection was distributed only in ex YU).
BELGIUM
Panini EURO FRANCE 1984 Belgium version front.jpg
I am not quite sure about the back cover for Belgium version, but front one shows obvious Figurine Panini sign.
PORTUGUESE
Panini EURO FRANCE 1984 Portuguese version front.jpg
Portuguese version has a word Offerta (probably some sort of promo album, TBC)
DANISH

Has a red Interpresse label in the left corner of a cover page.

STICKER PACKS
So far, there are only 3 known packs variation which certainly is a bit disappointing for pack collectors. But it is what it is. As always, if you find any that is not covered in the guide, let me know and I will update it.

Shiny stickers are actually shiny as you can see on the photo.

Yugoslav Badges (Not Shiny)
Photo bellow depicts Yugoslav version which did not have shiny stickers (It probably was not cost-effective to the publisher in YU at that time or they did not have the technology).

Geramont stikers

These were some sort of promo stickers issued in France with Geramont products. Read this post by Makhno for more info on these.

The GERAMONT stickers were offered with Géramont products. Géramont was a french cheese brand that is no longer exist.
As you can see on the stickers back (or not if you don't speak french), these stickers were made to be stuck in the forthcoming album. But as you know, the design of the Panini album and stickers resulted totally different and these stickers had to be kept aside.
As far as I know, Geramont edited 24 stickers.

It seems there is also a Gratis version. Does anyone know if it came with a starter pack, magazine or something else?

Looking through the Pic'grin packet scan, I clearly see the Harald Schumacher Geramont sticker. Does anyone know if Pic'grin products also offered the Geramont stickers or do we have separate Geramont and Pic'grin packets?

Definitly, Geramont stickers were in similar packets but only offered in Geramont cheese boxes.

Hey Pavle,
I just saw another sticker pack variation on eBay - i’m going to speak to the seller about putting an offer in for it (although I’m not willing to pay what they are asking for it) - it’s a promotional version for Suchard, the chocolate company, and I believe (although i’m not 100% sure about this) that the packets contained 3 stickers, and were given away with boxes of chocolates.
Here’s the image from the eBay listing.

Cheers
Rob

Cheers Makhno,
I don’t speak French, but does it also say in the text that you can buy the packs without having to buy Suchard chocolate? Or something similar?

Not exactly : it says that you can purchase the album in the newspapers stores without any obligation to buy chocolate.
