Hello
Just been on the Panini website and have seen that they have released a new set of EFL cards in Collector and Premium boxes at £100 and £180 respectively. Will anyone be buying them? Are they worth it?

They’re still for the 2025/26 season annoyingly. I’d love if Panini do an Adrenalyn style release as my club Burnley are now in the EFL.

Yes - they are last season's collection. The huge churn of players in the lower leagues in particular means they are already quite a bit out of date. My Team for example (Cambridge United) all but one of the players on the various cards have already left the club. The same is true for other League Two teams as well.

I think we all hoped and expected that we would get an Adrenalyn XL type set, which would have sold very well I suspect. But all we are going to get are Hobby Boxes. The fact that these cards haven't sold out immediately probably tells you that they are not selling that well.

The season finished a long time ago and we are only a month from the new one. It just seems that these cards are far too late and are being chucked out as an afterthought.

Personally - I won't be buying a box - I don't and have never "done" Hobby Boxes. There are very few superstars in the EFL, but I suppose you could buy a box and then flog any autos and parallels you might get. There are not actually that many autos and parallels in each box.

The premium boxes are a bit too expensive, if they were half the cost they are then I might think about it, but I will wait for the sticker collection in November.
