The heck is that sticker in bottom right corner?
They call them Idol(team nickname if you like, Lazio Eagles or Juve Zebras, etc) cards which come in GOL Flowpacks packs that include a Gold team badge as well. I have the full set from 19/20. I think they are including them in the album as stickers this season instead of buying them in packs.

It existed in the last Panini "Brasileirao 2020"

So..they decide to destroy this collection by using the Spanish format? Face+in action?

Panini should think twice before adapting what is perfect

Actually I like the collection and the design itself. I know that isn't very typical in Calciatori the horizontal stickers, however is not totally strange (I think was 1973 or 1972 Calciatori stickers were horizontal). Maybe its me that I'm used to in Portugal that stickers and collection layout look like the same for the last 5 years. A last thought, or maybe question: is there a "perfect" design sticker? And if yes, would like that perfect design sticker to be the same every year? Over and over again? Me personally would get tired of it. I'm not praising this Calciatori, I'm just saying that they need to try new things, obviously sometimes you get good results and sometimes you don't. Merry Christmas everyone!

I'm with you. Change does not necessarily mean a bad one. I like this one as well.

The fact that it's similar to La Liga is irrelevant.

Also, it's possible that they had some feedback from collectors who wanted a change for a horizontal sticker or a 2 picture sticker. FIFA365 this season is horizontal as well and it look lovely.

Merry Christmas/Feliz Natal to you and yours. Ho..Ho..Ho

I don't like it. I collect all years Liga Este collection and I don't like it. And the horizontal stickers is one of the reasons. I prefer the single face photo rather than the in action. It's my preference. They were so lazy that even the yellow frame was used.

But of course it's my opinion. In Italy, as far as I know its seem that this collection has also been devastated by critics.

I would like to see changes in the photo format and not in the sticker format. For example, every team could have different backgrounds, players could adopt different poses, the photos can be from different angles and so on. It's something I always liked about the Panini UCL 1999-2000, where players had their training grounds behind them or a forest or what not. Recent albums look more like collections of passport photos.

I think the English Premier League one will be the same. All Panini seem to do is go to the Premier League website pull all the mugshots from that, and put a fancy border around the edge. Of course if they make a good job of them I will more likely buy it lol. But I'm not a fan of the landscape stuff either, as I can remember ditching the EPL 2020 one for having landscape badge stickers, hopefully they won't do that ever again.

Topps did exactly the same in the last few seasons' collections and whilst I love the collections and albums and will continue to collect them, you're right about using the Premier League stock player photos with a fancy border.

Sadly this will always be the way from a licensing point of view and there will only be so much that Panini can really do to make the album and stickers unique for each season as this is how it all works in football these days. I would love the album to recreate the wonderful unique 80's albums, but this will never happen. I'm so glad that I have all the previous albums from 1978 onwards to enjoy and look at from time to time.

That said, I am still really excited for the new collection next week and cannot wait to get going for another year!!!!
