I always preferred Pro Evolution Soccer to FIFA.
When me and my brother used to play it on Sony PlayStation 1, it was called ISS, and after that ISS2 which included clubs. My first FIFA is 99, and I had great time playing it on my Windows 95 :)
But if there are enough of us, why not, we can play FIFA online, unless you guys are brave enough to try PES :p ?
I never played online, but I assume we can create a tournament of some sort or whatever?

A little bit off topic, but for @ilias and good old days :)
So many hours spend playing this. These new games get boring after 20 minutes to me to be honest.

First FIFA to me was 94, played in my cousin's PC and he got so mad at me because I pressed the keys so strongly that I almost broke the keyboard :p

My first own FIFA was 98, also for PC... So many hours spent with that, what a good time... Still remember a flaw from that, when a goalkeeper grabbed the ball right in penalty box edge and usually gave an extra step and got outside the box, which was always foul of course.

For Playstation, I got FIFA 99 and yes Pavle, it rocked... And the soundtrack, so amazing! I usually went home more fast than Bolt just to play as much as possible :D

Last FIFA for me was 2001, for PC (didn't like 2000)... Not many memories from it, but it was a good game... Then PES was rising and got to PES 3, which I still have somewhere for PS2... Last PES I played was 2012, then lost interest for football video games (and mostly video games in general)

Great, now I have the urge to listen to FIFA 99 soundtrack

This one was my favorite song on FIFA 99 :) What I liked about FIFA 99, is if you press Q, you can tackle a goalkeeper and get an immediate red card :)
My earliest memories of playing PC games are like you said Carlos, sprinting from school just to play ISS 1, and oh boy, when ISS2 with clubs got released, it was such a revelation.:)

Games here at that time were not easy to find, due to economical crisis and war, some guys made some serious money selling pirate CD's on the street. Luckily PlayStation 1 did not require to be rooted in order to work, everything worked. So I had plenty of games. Best console ever made in my opinion, hands down. Not because of pirate games, but because it lasted for ages and I think I played it for years and years before I got PS2 which I gladly play with my brother, even today.

Shhhh, don't talk about piracy! :p Most of my PS1 games were all copies and I still have a few ahah... FIFA 99, Metal Gear Solid, Tomb Raider II (TR3 I had original) FF7 & 8, Driver... Dude, those were the days!

Of course that is the best song for FIFA 99, it's actually the song that defined my teenager days... Good ol' days where Techno and Big Beat was rocking the world (Chemical Brothers, Crystal Method, Orbital, even Daft Punk was rising)... From FIFA 99, also love Raincry (so ethereal) and Gotta Learn
