He was remembered 2 days ago as he passed away 24 august 2012.
After club Altay (as in this 1966-67 card) and PTT, he played for Galatasaray and 28 times for the national team.
After retirement he tried to form a players' union against the club owners and so called football sytem. His well known phrases were :
- I am playing "left" wing for a reason!
- I am playing wing because I want to be close to the people!
- Football is beautiful in 'arsa', not 'borsa'.. ( borsa means stock market, arsa is the neighborhood empty field, used for ryhme )
