First of all, the title is not an "attack" to you who is reading this... or it may be, depending if your actions are reflected on what I'll write next.
As all of you, I swap sometimes. Mostly do it with trusted friends, who I don't even bother checking if it's a fair swap or not (and they do not abuse too). Many times I'm also fortunate to receive more than what I give. Some of you here know it very well. My sincere thank you to all of you and sorry if I'm a nuisance sometimes
But... there's also the ugly side of swaps. That ugly side where you see how they try to take advantage of you. And this frustrates me when these leechers comes like a jet.
Since this pandemic started, I obviously try to keep at home as much as possible. Sadly in my area things are not really improving. So last days, I decided to update a lot of my lists in Last Sticker, mostly loose sticker sets I'll try to complete.
First I tried to search some good swaps, that would fulfill both parties. Found some, but sadly, most either don't answer or don't want to swap. It's "normal", move on.
Then I made myself available to swap (in LS, you can turn off your availability to swap) and of course, proposals came like a river flowing fast. As expected, most are absurd, but one of them was so absurd that it's hard for me to imagine that a guy with over 300 feedback didn't know what he was asking.
Among all these last attempts to swap, one of them actually went through. A nice guy with one simple feedback. I noticed he had a lot of those irish rare players to swap in World Cup 2002 album. I needed just one from him and for that, I gave him 3 stickers, one a shiny. Sadly, he answered later he didn't have that anymore. I checked his revised list and as expected, almost all irish were gone. I told him about how irish were rare and yes, of course he didn't even know.
I don't want to be some SJW as they call it. But I hate these situations. Hence the title, how low are YOU willing to go to get what you need?
