hi @all,

i hope here is someone who can help me out.

I opened a sticker packet which is nearly 10 years old. The packet was in an excellent condition.
After opening the stickerpacked i've recognized that the the sticker on top have small glue stains. Its from the inside of the sickerpacket.
Info: its not a shiny sticker.

Does anyone has a hint how to remove the stains carefully? i dont want to damage the colour or anything else of the sticker.

Any help is appreciated.

It's always better to add a picture, so everyone can see the problem.

If it's what I suspect, those are not glue stains, the sticker is damaged already. Due to humidity, that glue packet from inside attached so much to the front sticker that when you opened it, packet "brought" small dots of the picture too.

When that happens, you need to open the packet very, very slowly, to separate the packet from the sticker, but probably won't solve the problem entirely. It's like when you place adhesive tape to a paper sheet, if you try to separate, probably the adhesive tape will bring part of the paper.

If it's really just glue stains, just use the same method I wrote in some threads here about how to remove stickers from albums.

Hi, sorry for the late answer. This topic is annoying me. I try to get pics of the sticker in sunlight soon. Thanks

Don't know how to help, just be careful with glue remover, because as you can tell the structure is different than on a normal sticker.

Off topic: Still a nice card, just unfortunate. And I guess I was wrong, there's still sealed copies of that (or there were at least) :) So I guess my comment in the other thread was wrong. If you find the other two share a photo :)
