This year once again we have a football sticker album of the Portuguese League, this year is the 2015/2016 season called Liga Nos 2015/2016 (for sponsorships reasons) as you can see in some advertisements.
In the cover we can see the logo of the collection "Futebol 2015-2016" (in english Football 2015-2016), we have also the typical logo of Panini, the 18 badges of the 18 clubs on the first league of Portugal and we have 9 players: Jonas and Samaris from Benfica, Casillas and Osvaldo from Porto, Joao Mario and Gutierrez from Sporting, Carlos Martins from Belenenses, and I believe Ricardo Valente from Vitoria Guimaraes (not 100 per cent sure) and one player I believe from Braga but I don´t know who he is, feel free to edited the post if you know who he is.
Informations about the collection:
- The album has 48 pages without counting with both covers.
- The album has 406 stickers.
- Each of the 18 teams of the league has 17 stickers of players, 1 sticker of the coach and 1 sticker of the whole team.
- We have special sections with the Badges of the 18 teams, the best players of each team, the best transfers on the summer market and the best players of Portugal that play outside our country in other leagues.
- The collection will have a huge marketing campaign with advertising on TV and promotions on newspapers, stadiums and even schools!
Informations about products:
- Each packet costs 0,60 euro and brings 5 stickers.
- The album alone costs 2,00 euro.
- Like every year there is a starter pack who costs 3,50 euro and brings the album and 4 packets.
- There will be this year a special new starter pack with the album and 1 packet with only the price of 0,60 euro! Until the stock is ended.
- We have also a blister with 10 packets that brings 50 stickers and costs 6,00 euro.

The collection isn't on sale now I believe, but will be shortly in the few days... Maybe even next sunday, because we are used to have each year a promotion with two newspapers (Record and Correio da Manha) where in one Sunday if you buy those newspapers that I´m not sure about the price but it is less then 1 euro I believe you get free with the newspaper the album of the collection and 6 stickers inside.
In my opinion I´m not a fan of the player sticker, for me is just too simple, and for me 9 players on the cover is too many (And in Porto Aboubakar deserves a lot more to be on cover instead of Osvaldo...) but I like the badge sticker design.

I don´t have the album right now to be 100 per cent right, but it says in one of the advertising that it include several special sections with:
- With the Badges of the 18 teams of the league , probably on the first pages with all badges together like last year album.
- We have "Top Aquisações" (Best signings) with the best transfers on the summer market like past years (for example we will have there Casillas for sure).
- We will have a section with the best players of each team (probably shiny stickers).
- And a section with the best players of Portugal that play outside our country in other leagues (almost the same as France 2016 last season) players like Ronaldo of our national team but that don´t play in our Portuguese League and play outside of our country will be on that section.
I believe that will be all the special sections on the collection unless that is what is wrote on portuguese in one of the adversiting, I can´t confirm since the collection isn´t on sale right now mate .

But wait, we have new design! OMG, new design! We have now some sort of masonic wtf cover, with a bunch of players "thrown" there (Osvaldo? What the hell has he done to be there?!) making it more crowded than a indian bus in rush hour! But the inside, oh the inside will surely erase every single thing I've pointed here! Because that's what will save the entire album, the design! And Casillas too.

And the amazing one-packet starter pack, for the price of the packet... PWAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!! But they also leave the"usual" starter pack with 4 packs for 3.5€... Usual? Panini, where were you in the past two years? Futebol 2013/14: starter pack with 8 packs for 3.5€ (yes, I know, you did a "mistake" for being so generous), last year you increased the same SP for 5€, but still a good SP... Then you return to 3,5€ for 4 packets? Talk about evolution!

Seriously, after the great progress done in 2013/14 and the "acceptable" work in 2014/15, we now get a scandalous copy of last year, but more expensive? Panini, have some balls and admit you didn't care one bit for this season! And this collection, this is what will delay by months the release of FIFA 365? I'm flabbergasted!

I wanted to do a blog article for this, I'm a proud portuguese and I want our football league to be exposed as much as possible to the world... But this? I won't condone even a second with this... Also, I usually make two sets every year, this one I'll even think if I'll even do one!

Thank you for despising the portuguese people, Panini.

My problem with Panini is not the album or the prices, IF just one of those happened... So, if I get an album with many new stuff, but a bit more expensive, I wouldn't be happy with the price, but would be ok... Same as being the same old boring album, with the same special sections every year, but keeping the same price, ok too... But what they did this year is completely disrespecting Portugal! A copy from last year, where they just changed the design and made a crowded cover, while lowering the number of stickers per packet and keeping the same price, is not from someone with good faith towards a country that gave them lots of revenues, with tremendous players rising here in the last years, making our league in top 5 of UEFA ranking!

And if I compare with Spain, we now get one less sticker per packet than them, for the same price! So, for the smart Panini, we're paying more per sticker than Spain, a country right beside us, but with much better incomes and salaries! Does this makes any sense?!

I understand that, for those who don't have a league collection, it's still lucky we have it... However, every person complains regarding it's context... And context here is simple: scandalous copy of last year, which means poor dedication from Panini, while rising the overall price collection... It's like you do a lousy job for something, but still want to get paid even more! Only in some minds there in Modena is possible to think that way, even more with a country that has it's difficulties to even do a single league collection.

Probably there will be a time I'll lose interest in portuguese league, so I see now a good reason for that to happen.

Packets 6 to 5 stickers - This is one I'll never, never understand, even more when right next to us, Spain still has the same 6 stickers (I don't want Spain to have 5 too, I want Portugal to have 6 again!)... Quality increased? No. So why this? Why such greed? Why abusing people who already make such an effort to collect something? Do Panini really think we have the economic power Germany, UK, France, even Spain have?

Anyway, seems yesterday Panini was giving out free albums in Benfica match... And even if I don't do the collection, I'll at least buy one or two starter packs, to at least check it myself how are the stickers and the album inside.

I post two posts with almost the same things for mistake and they had some english mistakes so I delete them to correct them but no problem at all about that .
For me what really upsets it the RISING of prices, of course I´m not happy with the same things on the album but at least they should stayed with the prices of last year, not increase the prices! YES, we don´t have the same economic power as those countries you said but we have the higher prices! That´s makes no logic at all:
I didn't know that about the Benfica Match ((but it confirms what it says on that advertising with the promotion on stadiums) do you have any extra info or photos because of that?

Thanks for the photo, so almost like last years and last album we have a special section with portuguese players that play outside our league and our country like last year with the "France 2016". So the same thing once again...

Don't forget the trophy, number 1... Then the other 45 are those special, I guess, split in multiples of 9... Like 18 Craques, 9 Top Aquisições and 18 Portugueses pelo Mundo.

For anyone coming here first time, probably will think "what an amazing collection!"... But it's not, want me to share also the feedback from serious portuguese collectors?

What actually bothers me is that stickers of head shoots of players look like someone butchered their shoulder. Totally unnatural and weird-looking. Like a massacre.Whoever took these images (or a person who edited them) has no knowledge of photography basics.

And Pavle, that was the only "major" difference to last year, but they always do that, just change the design... The only time they did some important improvments was in 2013/14 and it got so many good reviews at the time.

These are the original portuguese words from just some of who already got the album and stickers... I expect a lot more by the night, when people buy a starter pack after getting out of work.

Notice there are 3 people who says "mais do mesmo!", which is literally translated as "more of the same!"... From what I saw so far from the album, it has the exact same structure, with really minor differences... And seems they already did a mistake, with Tonel, a Belenenses player, being related to Sporting (he was a Sporting player, but left a few years ago)... This is just a sample of how serious Panini was with this... Since I began again doing the portuguese league in 2010, this is certainly the worse job they did.

Panini, portuguese people don't sleep, neither are dumb or stupid, as you make us... Change your behaviour with us and you'll see serious improvments in both people's comments and your sales... Don't think you'll always get away just because you are mostly exclusive here... Respect us and we'll certainly respect you.

So today I bought the "special pack" that cost 0,60 euro, it brings the album and one packet and also 6 stickers inside that was a good surprise and probably the only one of the collection... I bought also a couple of packets.
First thing the packets have 6 stickers per packet and not 5 as mentioned before.
We already have posted the cover, the back cover has the trophy of the league, the logo "Futebol 2015-2016" and again all the 18 badges of the 18 clubs of the league.
The album has 48 pages and 406 stickers. The first two pages have the schedule of the first league of Portugal, a text from Joaquim Evangelista (Director of the Syndicate of the Professional football players in Portugal) and we have also the index.
The first section has two pages with the 18 badges stickers of the 18 clubs in the league, below each sticker of the badge we have last year season stats of the league with: - Position, Points, Victory's, Draws, Losses, Goals Scored and Goals Against.
Then from page 4 to page 39 we have the 18 clubs pages. Each club has two pages and has 19 stickers, as the following first the sticker of the whole team, then the sticker of the coach and then 17 stickers of normal players (according to Panini should be the players who play more minutes but maybe they don´t know to look to the line-ups and see who plays more minutes because there are players missing in some teams that play)
In the two pages we have information about the team: Date of Foundation, seasons on first division, name of the stadium, location of the stadium, capacity, width and length of the stadium. We have the name of the president, the website and email of the team, the titles of the team, and last 5 seasons positions on the league.
Each sticker of the player has above: His full name, date and place of birth, and the club were they played last season. Below we have the weight and height and position of the player. In the coach sticker we don´t have anything below and above we have full name, date and place of birth.
Then after all the clubs we have two pages with "Adepto" promotion, Adepto means fan in Portuguese and in the back of some stickers you get one letter of the word Adepto and if you get the word Adepto all together you can send those stickers to Panini and if you are one of the 1000 to do it you win a free ball (I never did that but I expect the ball to have lower quality)
Then we have second special section called Craques, (the best player of the team according to Panini, some are just ridiculous choices) and in the section we have one player per team so 18 stickers, below the sticker we get a little text about the player.
Then we have the "Top Aquisições" section with best transfers of the summer, we have 18 stickers also (15 stickers are only from 3 clubs Benfica, Porto and Sporting )
We end with the "Portugueses pelo Mundo" section (In english Portugueses around the world) only 10 stickers of portuguese players that play in other leagues that arent the portuguese league for example as Ronaldo.
To end the album like always we have the list of all the champions of the Portuguese League and Portuguese Cup and a picture of the winners of last edition of both competitions (Benfica of Portuguese League and Sporting of Portuguese Cup).

And yes, after all we still have 6 stickers per packet... Terrible advertising from Panini, making us think they've decreased their offer.

Also, the album in that tiny SP has that ugly red promo stripe in the cover upper part... Panini was like "yeah, get a free album, but with the ugly red promo stripe".
