I understand the appeal of genuine signature cards for those who care about them, but 3 Kane limited editions identical aside from the colour of a tiny border. This is meant to be Panini's big seller in the UK to combat Topps getting the PL license.

No thanks.

I will be collecting this one as I have for the past 10 editions.

Just like the sticker collection this has been good in years and average in others.

I really don't care for the parallels as long as my checklist/binder cards is complete with a few favourite player LE cards added.

Some people feel the need of getting every single LE card that exists which can get a little dear esp if you want exclusive players/teams from Turkey, Hungary or Greece for example.

One thing I want to see this year is more than 16 teams included. Around 20-22 teams would be nice.

I've seen some of these cards on sale in my local supermarket this morning.
Nice. Did you buy any?

At the moment it's only kick off multi packs that are out. Full collection comes out on the 11th/Sep in the UK.

By the way - if you are collecting these cards - there is a coloured parallel Fan Favourite card in every pack.

Nordic Edition of this collection has been for sale in Finland for a week or so.
Including at this point:

Starter Pack 12,95€
Mini Tin 9,95€
Megatin 19,95€
Multipack 9,95€
XXL box (2 XXL LE's, 2 LE's, 4 boosters) 9,95€
Booster 2,00€
Premium Packet 5,00€
Premium Gold 10,00€

Products include LE's from two different finnish Teams; FC Inter Turku and HJK Helsinki, total 11 + 11 LE's.

LE's on this collection seem to need own binder or two again. Crazy...

The premium packets are a rip-off. The LEs inside them are worthless. There is no other reason to buy these packets.

I've pretty much completed the collection now - like I said in a previous post - the coloured parallels Fan Favourites are a pain.

Not a bad collection otherwise.

Are there any other Nordic cards in the Nordic Edition then Finnish LE-cards?

There is basically two big supermarket chains that are the main distributors on these. Finnish Panini also selling booster displays with platinum card bundles etc.

Are you just doing the base set or are you doing limited edition, XXL etc too?

Not sure honestly,I would to collect everything but I imagine that's very expensive.Thinking I should focus on the base set first and anything else I get would be a bonus/nice to have

As you are not into cards, are you sure you want to open the Pandora's box? :)
If you really want to go down this path, depending by your collecting interests (and budget) you should set up some hard lines and "paint" only within those lines. It's very easy to succumb to temptation and enter into a downward spiral. Collecting everything is indeed VERY expensive. Gary asked a very pertinent question because you maybe should focus on different products if you are after specific items such as LE's, XXL's, Nordic Edition cards, other subsets than those already part of the main collection....

For just the base set you should be OK with some booster boxes - just for fun you can add the pencil tin and a couple of eco blisters. In Romania you can find a decent range of products priced a tad below the prices in Western Europe. Still, finishing ASAP ... that's debatable. It's not a collection very easy to complete even if you go only for the main set.

I see that we are living in the same city, one final piece of advice: stay away from loose packs and buy only sealed products. It seems that everybody and his dog has a small scale and a friend working in a newsstand so most of the boosters are checked for special cards. At my age I don't believe anymore in unicorns but I still have accepted a box with a broken seal (there were 6 full boxes behind the counter, all with the seals broken). You should get about 4-5 shields and at least one GB in a 24 packs box, I got, of course, nothing.
