Copa America Official albums

Hello dear collectors,

Has anyone a list of the official licensed albums that were published for the different editions of the Copa America?
I believe this is Panini since 2007 but what about before?

Any help would be more than appreciated.

Hello!

Panini released an album named "Selecciones de América" just before the 2001 Copa América, but as I know, it is not a Copa America licensed album.

Also, there is an editor who releases a Copa America album since 1995, called Navarrete.

Thanks for your feedback.
I know about Seleciones de America as I have it. And you are right, it was not a licensed album.
I checked on Laststicker as well before publishing this topic but I decided to ask here as I was not able to identify which ones were licensed albums and which ones not. There is no way to identify them. At least, that I know.
And I am only looking for the licensed albums. Therefore my question here.

I know about Seleciones de America as I have it. And you are right, it was not a licensed album.
I checked on Laststicker as well before publishing this topic but I decided to ask here as I was not able to identify which ones were licensed albums and which ones not. There is no way to identify them. At least, that I know.
And I am only looking for the licensed albums. Therefore my question here.

Only Panini were under license from 2007. For Navarrete, some are "official", but difficult to know if it's true.

In my point of view, the Navarete albums from 2007 are not official licensed ones. On the 2007 they tried to make a claim but looks a little twisted for me.
Before 2007, do you know for sure which were the official editors? Are they the ones you were mentioning previously? Could it be that they were published without any license?

The Copa América albums have a history that I find interesting, as it concerns the production of the albums in some countries in South America.

Panini arrived in Brazil in 1989 and was associated with a famous publisher called Editora Abril. This label had made some Brazilian Championship albums, but the World Cup albums were produced unofficially, as is the case of the famous 1982 World Cup album that was produced by a gumball company called Ping Pong. The album was a sales phenomenon because the 1982 Brazilian team was a success, and we thought it would win the World Cup.

That said, official albums began to be produced by Brazilian Panini in 1990, which is the year of the first official World Cup album in Brazil.

The Copa America was not valued by the Brazilian team and began to be valued from 1989 onwards. So, Brazilian didn't have interesting to produce an album at that time.

The Copa América albums were produced by publishers that were not official and did not have the right to use images from Fifa, the Confederations and the players. Navarrette has no rights and is always sued for making the albums. Since 1998, they made unofficial versions of World Cup albums too.

The Chilean newspaper "La Tercera" released the Copa América collections from 1991, 1993 and 1995 (the Salo edition). Navarrette has them from 1997, 1999, 2001 and so on. I think they made the 1995 edition.

The official editions are made by Panini. The publisher made the editions of 2001, 2007, 2011, 2015 and so on. She did not make the 2004 edition due to licensing difficulties.

Others versions of Copa America are unofficial.

Nowdays, apparently, Navarrette became the publisher "3 Reyes", due to court cases.

I believe you are one of the few collectors with such knowledge regarding Copa America. Amazing.
I "only" have Panini albums, since 2001. And since I am collecting official albums, I was fearing not having other editions. I am kind of happy to read your article
