Collectors Guide UEFA EURO 2000

Hey guys,

so far I have always searched the internet in vain for a collection of information about the older Panini albums of the European Championships. Therefore I decided to collect all available information from collector friends from all over the world and from the internet and to summarize it in a Collectors Guide (analogous to the really great Collectors Guide of Pavle for the World Championships 1998.

Of course there is no guarantee for completeness.
If you have any additions or improvements, I would be grateful if you could send them to me at panininelson@gmail.com or at cardzreview to Nelson80

Uncertainties currently exist regarding the following topics:

Were there special sticker package s from Tesco? Solved: Packages with yellow barcode include the green Tesco stickers.
Are the emblems really not available with a blue back?
Why are the 7 stickers of the English team so rare?

I hope that these guides will help you to get an exact overview of the albums and their special features

If you want to view the pdf version: Collectors Guide UEFA EURO 2000

Greetings

Hello

Thanks for your nice work, effort and information.

Although I have a little question/remark.

When you look at the attached picture, you can see two different types of stickers from the Belgium badge (Euro 2000).
First I thought it was a bad print, but on the Football Cartophilic website they also mention the existing of stickers with a grey back.

So, what's the difference between black and grey backs or is this not true?

Kind Regards Ginstigol

Hi
Thank you for your great detective work
The stickers with green back (Euro 2000) Are they inside the yellow barcode packets?
All best from Denmark

Hello Søren, on the unopened packs with yellow bare code you will found just stickers with green back stickers.

ok
I got new questions: The blue and black stickers Are they mixed in the international packets (vertical and horizontal)?
or are the blue only in the horizontal ones ?

Stickers with blue backside (mentioned in the guide as Europe) were also released in South-America. They were availble in those packets with the big stars printed on the left or right side.

I also have questions for the backside of the 2000 stickers!

So the red and green stickers are clear to me!

The others are not entirely clear to me!

So as Ginstigol wrote, my badges all have the gray back! But the photo of Ginstigol is also available in black! Or is it really just worse pressure?

As you can see in my picture. there are 2 types of the blue!
Is that just worse pressure again?

To the pictures:
No. 5: black
No.6: lighter blue
No. 7: darker blue!

Can anybody say something about that? Backdise gray and black (specially badges) and the two different blue backside!

Kind regards
Stefan

Hi, these stickers exist, but are very rare stickers, like the black side...
I already have the 77, 87, 90 (blue backs) like spare but now I don't have it, because I swapped..

You can find in South America or US at collectors, but are rare stickers and you need to have patience. Good luck!

euro 2000 have 3 colours so i wish to be sure before i pay nice money for this
logically, if you look above at Nelson post, green version, no chance, in total are ~70 stickers from Tesco packs, red version from total fina are 50 stickers.. Blue version as well no chance because are South America. Sealed factory was in Europe, means >> shall be black. I had all verison of green back side, red back side and packs as well. If are complete, bagdes are black side. I have no see badges with blue back colour.

here I cannot guarantee, inside can be a chaos, bend stickers or some stickers with small defects on the print.. this are just some lessons learnt for my side when I opened with some friend WC2010 Swiss edition.. You can also give some lot which are perfect as well.

I complete agree... Should be the black back version.
But there's no guarantee for mint stickers, because stickers are loose between pages.
