Brazilian cheater

Hi,
I also can, unfortunatly, report a bad experience with a seller. A Brazilian one. The first items I bought him was sent without any problem (long wait but items ok). But later, he started to cheat me. He first sent me copies and not original items. As I complained, he sent me (after 1 year !!) other items to replace but some stufs were missing this time. From that day, he never answered anymore. He is not the worst guy on earth indeed, but he is not for sure reliable at all !!
As I don't want to give his entire name and address here (I'm not sure it is authorized and if it is a good thing to do, even speaking of liars and cheaters), I will only say his first name is Valdir and that he lives in Sao Paulo. If you want the complete ID, I will only reply in PM.

It is very kind of you not to give his full ID and address, but actually I don't understand it. You are now protecting him in a way. People can't google his name or address and he simply can continue with his bad behavior. Those scammers think that you are from a rich country and because of that you simply deserve to be scammed. They see themselves as a kind of Robin Hood and feel safe because of the distance between you and him. I have also been scammed by someone in Brazil and he, Jean Dias, acts the same way as your Valdir

You're free to let people know here who is the guy on ebay... And who knows, maybe it's the same scammer Manfred wrote... Adresses and so, you can talk about it by private messages and if it's really the same guy, then MAYBE you can leave it here (it's a tough issue when publishing private data from someone else without his/her consent)... @Pavle must know that better than me and he had a very bad personal experience with a portuguese scammer.

Bah, these situations involving "portuguese" people just makes me ashamed

Well I thought Diego Costa was brazilian cheater
He was raised in Spain, so to all effects, he's a spanish cheater... Either way, he got the "bad blood" of both countries.

I am unsure guys about publishing private addresses here. Perhaps someone can create a list of well-known cheaters and have it available for members upon request via private messages.
If someone is willing to do it, we can have it as a sticky topic of some sort.

You're maybe right but I still don't want to give name and full address of this guy in a forum. I'm maybe wrong but there is something that makes me fill bad about doing it. In the other hand, I gave his first name and city location, so if someone read my warning and is about to have a deal with a Valdir from Sao Paulo, I think it can ring a bell and drive him to ask me for more precision (full name and full address).

Greetings,
I signed up today and am reading the forums to get to know the site better. I see that several answers are generalized about my country. I know that the news about Brazil is not good, as well as from other countries, I hope that the participants of this forum, do not stop believing in people due to the mistake of some. I already bought an English seller album and he never sent it, so a Canadian seller sent me a complete set of the 98, after I complained that I did not receive it, but after a while the pictures were delivered and I immediately made a new payment. Not all Brazilians or Spaniards have bad blood. I really enjoyed what I read on the forums and I hope to learn about world cup collections with these select participants.
Best Regards

Hi @DNovais, welcome to our community.

Out of context seems I'm some xenophobic bastard to blame brazilians, portuguese and spanish for all these scamming problems... In my personal experience, I've had too many problems with south/central american countries, mostly Brazil and Mexico... Doesn't mean the people are bad in general, but in my case, based on hundreds of swaps and sales around the world, Brazil, Mexico and Greece are my top 3 by far from other countries... But the most serious problems I had was actually from UK, also had problems with two or three more countries in the European Union.

There's people here who doesn't have anything to complain about south american countries, so I guess it's all about getting to know the right people at the right place/time.
