What Album had the best design in the last 20 years?

Euro 96 had that awesome idea of having History with old players, and stickers for the host towns. But the team pages design was nothing special.

Euro 2000 is my personal favorite. The idea of having each team fans as background and 3 pages per team was awesome. Plus the two part team sticker!

Euro 2004 was the worst. The design was just bad for me. The pages, the stickers - all of it.

Euro 2008 I reallt liked. The idea of incorporating the flag into the first page of each team was inovative. And the 4 part team stickers were awesome.

Euro 2012 was OK, but nothing really memorable.

How about you?

I have chosen Euro 96.
The history section is still great.
To be honest the team pages are horrible, but I like the different cover versions - though collecting them all is a costly task.
But the main reason is that this tournament brought me back to collect Panini stickers after a multi year long break.
My personal revival.

Despite the albums of the euro have been produced in Brazil only from 2008 if I'm not wrong, I among all presented in the list liked over 2000 which was played in Belgium/
Netherlands
.

My favourite is not in the list, which is Euro 88... But also like Euro 2008 because it was something fresh, much more broader than the usual Euro collections.

The Euro 2004 is personally the worse collection, same as Euro 2000 with some teams with lousy stickers (Denmark anyone?), plus not even a good intro for the euro cup hosted in my country.

96, but if we include all Panini collections for the Euros, I would vote for 84 (even though I like 88, too - because of the section with the referees; I do not like, though, the excessive stickers with the mascot - Berni in the 88 and 92 albums, and Ciao in the 90 album).

@Jimmy197, I am actually looking for an empty Swedish 96 album. Do you know where I can get one? :)

@dantzig Maybe you could add Europa 80, Euro 84 , 88 & 92 in the starting poll..and say : "best ever"(!)
Euro 80 and 84 I don't have, though I've seen pictures... Euro 92 also don't have but was my first big competition album ever and it was nice, but I lost almost all albums I did when I moved home :(

I kinda liked Berni with all those football movements... Actually, from Euro Cups, Berni is probably my favorite mascot, though I also like the portuguese mascot of Euro 2004, Kinas (still have a keychain from it).

Btw, Euro 92 is not Berni, it's Rabbit (I thought at first too they were the same).

I thought it was the same guy, but it seems if you switch to a new football kit, you change your identity... kind of true :) To me these numerous mascot-stickers were redundant, but the real waste of resources by Panini were the action stickers (like the ones in the Euro 2008 album).

Speaking of favorite mascots, Berni/Rabbit is/are my number 1, too. The ugliest - Slavko and Slavek :p:D:)

Euro 2012, undoubtedly. It has a beautiful and fresh design, and the quality of the pictures is superb. It's like an upgraded version of Euro 08, which has a poor design but brought a lot of innovations. For me, third would be Euro 2000, then Euro 96 and finally, Euro 2004, one of the worst Panini collections overall.

I go for Euro 88 as the most perfect Euro album so far. I really like that they have the mascot in the team shirt and also a sticker for the coach. The last page with the referees is really good!
There is one thing with the album that could have been better, the 4 sticker puzzle of the team, it should be only 1 sticker in my opinon.

In Copa America 2007 there was a 9 sticker puzzle with the team photo of Chile... that was to much!

My words, but @dantzig is only dreamin about Sporting winning the league title..;-)
In the wise words of Jesse Pinkman: "It's done, bitches!" :D

And now you can also edit your vote. Don't complain if it's not sorted out, that it's not possible to do it now.
