Assessing swaps

Good afternoon. I am looking for feedback from experienced swappers on Last Stickers etc. I am relatively new to the game and not finding it easy to assess offers. I am looking for advice on how to assess offers or prepare offers and what tools to use. Many seem to go by the needed/offered ratio on Last Stickers, some work on a 1/1 basis and apply this to foils etc. whereas others do not. For some stickers (parallels, extras e.g. from Qatar 2022), the swapping value is hard to find. Sometimes the value on Last Stickers (e.g. regular Cristiano Ronaldo for Qatar 2022 at 1.56) seems undervalued when compared to prices on Ebay. Who can offer advice on how to go about this in a way that benefits both swappers? Thanks in advance. Bart

You just have to judge what you are comfortable swapping for something you need.

Most people want the best deal for themselves right? People in countries where this is a special version or limited edition often try to get crazy swaps for them. These cards are super easy for them to obtain, but not for the rest of us.

Similarly I have some cards that I got years ago for next to nothing, but now people want them. They didn't cost me much so I am more comfortable swapping them against cards that I really want but might be easy for the person I am swapping with.

Anyone trying to swap base cards for inserts or other rares just avoid. There are people that seem to have the idea that a sticker is a sticker and a card is a card so everything has the same value with no exceptions, but that mentality always seems to work in their favour of course. When you propose a trade using their logic of course magically the rules change.

LastSticker is best for trading ordinary stickers and cards. It is when you try to swap rarer things that it gets frustrating

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, I gathered there is not always a rational way to assess values or source even that one can consult to find the right value as it can differ for people. It would make life easier...
