Hi guys,

During next few days I will be doing an interview with Mr Peter Warsop a Panini Group Licensing Director. Peter is great guy, very open minded and willing to give answers to some of your questions.

So if you have any serious question about upcoming products or licensing, now is the right time to ask.

Most interesting questions will be included in the interview.

So shoot right away, would like to hear what you have to ask.

would be interesting to hear about loosing the print rights of CL and some Leagues to TOPPS and what he thinks about Paninis future, if they will try to get back the rights or if they are willing to increase in other stuff like comic stickers or else.

A lot of collectors think Panini soccer albums are getting more and more boring. Especially when we think about WC albums. I would like to know if Panini board is aware of this and if they plan to do something more attractive with upcoming albums : design, special stickers, historical stickers and so on.

Hey Pavle, I thought about some information I would like to know. I know you won't be able to ask him everything, but anything helps.

Thank you!

Favorite album and why?

Will we ever get a badge album? Just the clubs logo.

Will panini ever release storage protection on stickers/albums or team up with a company? Or how do they protect there albums/loose stickers.

What was your first album?

Do you love the smell of stickers?

ilias, sorry to ask but... were you drunk at the time you wrote the bold phrase? :p
The badge album would be cool though, a collection with the badges from many leagues, ordered by continent... Probably most stickers would be from european leagues.

CL licensing should be the main question, for sure... Why they lost it and how they will compensate... And Pavle, if you can be really mean with them, ask if Panini wasn't abusing collectors with Adrenalyn collection, with so many LEs and why only some countries have most of them... Maybe UEFA saw this and came to the conclusion Panini wasn't doing the proper job.

Makhno also pointed out one thing I would ask them for sure: why they neglect the WC albums, they're boring as hell (I wrote about it a lot in this forum)... Probably you can't ask if it's because they know WC stickers will always sell very well, no matter the design, but you can always throw a "hint".

Why Adrenalyn collections cost so much with such low quality, when we have Mega Cracks series in Spain and Portugal, with almost half the price and more quality (you can tell them that, if Adrenalyn is released again in Portugal next year, I'll not do it, MC is much better).

Also, if Prizm collection will be released only with World Cups or European Cups too... And if they can make it more affordable to everyone and not to some elite.

That's what I remember so far ;)

Hi, good job Pavle with your contacts to Panini managers. My question will be about Olympic games sticker collections. How are they plans about these collections for the future. Also can you ask about Adrenalyn Olympic games... I remember the nice collections from 70...with Olympic games history, stars...
Thank you for this opportunity.

UK, home of collecting? Right...

Better ask for everyone to have the same rights, it's nor fair seeing Poland, Germany and even UK have Adrenalyn LEs (and making money out of it), some exclusive, while others have to struggle to get the same items... Panini sure favours some countries, no doubt about it, though I understand they're probably the ones who spend more... Still, not fair.

Hello all,
I have an important question for me: please ask him why Panini doesn't reprint the old collections like world cup 1970, 74, 78, 80... It would be such a joy to be able to have also those collections - and not be forced to pay an enormous amount on ebay or similar just because are so rare. Many if us were born in the 70's - of course we couldn't make those albums at that time-plus for example we in Romania didn't have panini until early 90's. It would be great that Panini takes this in consideration if possible.
Another thing that i don't understand is how is possible that some stickers that are more recent are imposeible to find at panini online-for example the irish players at wc 2002-and again people are forced to pay to speculators enormous prices on ebay... Thank you-i really hope to have an answer...

Good questions guys, keep ´em coming.
I will try to ask first the most commonly asked one, then try with more specific ones, depending on the time Peter has available.

Hello Pavle , could you ask Mr Peter the questions below ?
I wonder if the hardcover albums are a trend for future collections Panini , especially the albums of World Cups ?
I would also like to suggest that the Panini launch in the beginning of the year for which the World Cup , an album dedicated only to the champions and vice world champions, from 1930 to the last championship. I believe that would have well accepted by collectors.
Panini could make a partnership with Soccerstarz and sell miniatures of the best play of the cups .
Best regards,
Antonio

My question is how Panini America innovate a serie with both national and club kit in
one collection, which includes memorabilia ones, the first one in history. Is it an aggressive
tactics to fight for brand like Futera, and Topps, and is it very expensive and complicated
to deal with the licensing issues.

Also, why only Panini Portuguese Megacraques cards would publish ones with premier club logo, for instance, the C.Ronaldo in Manchester Jersey, how that could happen?

Some questions:

- Why is the distribution of the stickers isn't at the same in Europe?
Example: Only this month the UEFA CL 14-15 has arrived in Portugal...

- The rise of prices of packets.
In Italy, Calciatori 14-15 with 6 stickers cost 70 cent. I'm waiting for the prices of Euro 2016...
WC 1986 costs 10 cents per packet with 6 stickers. So good!!!

- Please, put stickers in domestic leagues of coaches, supporters, stadiums, old players.
Forget the teams formed by 4 stickers. Bad cuted and require lot of skills to put them right.

- Inovate in the design of domestic albums.
Do not aply the same formula in smaller countries or leagues like Portugal, Belgium, Grecce or Russia.

- The magazines Jugon or Craques is a way of stolen money with the stickers in sheets - Ultimas Actualizações or Mercado de Inverno. Pay for 4-5 magazines, about 20 euros at total, to have these stickers is a total shame.
