New collection is due to be released in Portugal. Its a bit strange because Portuguese Panini always had MegaCracks card sets about their national league. This season, it is more then obvious that Adrenalyn XL will replace MegaCracks.

Photography added by Carlos. If anyone has any more information about Adrenalyn XL Primera Liga 2014-15 post the info here.

Additional photographs announcing Limited Edition card (added by Carlos)

Yeah, that picture is from the latest Craques magazine (I'll give you another photo later, to remove that ad), so collection will be released this month, for sure... Mega Craques was usually released mid-January, so I assume this collection should hit the stores in the next days.

I don't know why Panini decided this year to bet again on Adrenalyn collections, because we don't have any Adrenalyn collection since 2010-11 (the only one, besides World Cup 2010)... Maybe it has to do with Mega Craques previous sales being very good to them or many people asking in their customer service... Or it could have to do with Invizimals TC collection, because even though it had more than 400 cards and packets were 1€ each (believe me, it's expensive for portuguese), it still had many sales, besides those special cards only released in some Invizimals magazine.

The downside of this is that base cards will probably have low quality, compared to Mega Craques, and also no info on the back... Plus, Mega Craques packets were almost half the price and it was simple to finish (no special cards whatsoever).

And it seems this year we'll also have tins, which is always nice... Let's see if we get other items, such as blisters... And of course, Limited Editions would also be nice, but maybe that's too much for a country that still depends on Panini España.

EDIT: Now checking my own magazine, I found out there's more info about the collection! How did I missed that? Geez... Anyway, I'll share the pictures with Pavle, so he'll insert them in the first post.

Added two more photos that @dantzig sent me via email into the first post.
This is going to be interesting set. I would prefer MegaCracks, since obviously they are a bit more interesting, but again Adrenalyn XL are getting more and more popular, so the Portuguese publisher obviously wants to re-brand the product. We will see if that will make any changes in quality/design. It will influence the price as you Dantzig mentioned.

Anyway, if anyone comes across any new info, a checklist, list of LE or anything, just feel free to post it.

Thanks KoNiKo, but so far, no collection released... If this goes on, we'll have the next Craques issue (the portuguese Jugon) released first than the collection itself (like Jugon, Craques will also have 2 LE and 2 packets)... I don't understand why they're delaying so much the release, collection should have been already out.

@Pavle: there already info about the Limited Edition cards that will be available in Portugal:

It seems we'll have 9 EL, obviously less than Spain (15), since we'll not have those premium boxes... Funny how Enzo Perez is an EL, given he's already in Valencia... That's what you get for making a checklist before the winter transfer market.

So, Panini had the great idea of releasing first Craques 13 with the 2 LE's in the picture above + 2 sealed packets (also 9 extra sticker to the portuguese sticker collection, after 3 previous magazines with 18 each)... Starter Packs? Boxes? Tins? Forget it, not released yet.

This reminds me of what happened with Adrenalyn CL 2014-15, where Kepes Sport in Hungary had sealed packets attached, before the collection itself was released.

I still couldn't go to any store to get the magazine, but when I do, if anyone want to see some cards, I'll take some pictures.

Anyway, about release date... Some people said it would be released today (not happening), some are saying tomorrow, some are saying only in February... Panini Portugal is already advertising it right in their homepage, so in my opinion, it should be released even this month (tomorrow or Saturday).

@dantzig Any chance we can see an article from you ´bout this on blog? :)
I believe it will be a milestone in collecting cards in Portugal, so might be a good idea to have nicely organized article on blog, if you have some spare time of course.

Yeah, I can write an article about it... I should have bought today Craques magazine, just to check right away some cards and the LEs, but I was too lazy to go to a store eheh.

Finally, collection was released! Not sure if tins would also be released now, but it seems they did... So today, it was shopping day!

I'm not going to show everything, just the most relevant... First, tins contents:

Like La Liga, instead of sealed packets, tins have 40 cards, wrapped together:

Still didn't open any sealed packet, but here's the ratio for the special ones:

And finally, after opening starter pack, tin and Craques magazine, here's the special cards I got (plus a few base):

And there you go... Sorry for the low quality photos, but they were taken with my "average" smartphone.

I'll check the collection thoroughly afterwards, with an article for CardzReview.

Photos look just fine Koniko. Perhaps they are a bit too large so depending on your device, browser or internet speed it can take few seconds more to load. In case you do not see them still, please pm me.

I tried with the 3 most used browsers (IE, Chrome & Firefox) and they all work, but I don't know about Safari... Maybe they hate Google, because the photos are stored in my Google Drive account :p

That´s strange, but as Carlos said, its uploaded from the external source (Google Drive) so it seams to be more like Google vs Safari then this site vs Safari, but I will see if I can run some tests. On my Safari on android it works well by the way.
