About old albums and failures

Good day, I have started collecting old albums, such as EURO 04, I opened packages and I noticed that some figures have a lousy cut (considering that I always thought Panini was perfect in this regard) in addition to some bad impressions. Tell me, was Panini like that before? o Since when did you start creating good material? Maybe I just had bad luck.

EC04 is still a recent album in my eyes, but not centered and non 90° captures of stickers you'll see more often.
From other (and more recently) collections you'll get more chance to get bad captured stickers coming from the 'made in Brasil' packets, but unfortunately I have to say that 'made in Italy' is making a strong catch-up movement due their focus on quantity in stead of quality.

I think backside errors are more rare. If I can get such one in my hands I'll add it to my collection.
see here an example of a backside capture error (and it's coming from the 1st FIFA365 collection, which is one of the better quallity collections)

Well, you didn't collect many Panini stuff, did you, to say you thought Panini was perfect in that cutting matter? Because there are so many collections with those "trapeze" stickers... Even now, I finished sticking some Tour de France stickers and many are like that.

Can't recall 100% where I got such stickers, but I'm pretty sure Panini messed up a lot during 2000's decade, including World, Euro and Champions Cups... This decade (2010/2019) was much better in Panini producing perfect rectangles, but there are still some issues in one or another set (like TdF I mentioned before).

It was an open question, I'm sorry.
And still with those problems, stick the stickers? and in what possible way?
You don't need to apologize. In my case, I was just surprised that you thought Panini was perfect in cutting stickers.

With those old collections, there's not much you can do, unless you can find some spares with better cut.

It's not such a big deal anyway, I'm sure you can still stick them neatly in the album, just check what's the best "angle" to stick.

In that Torres case, the problem are the bottom and upper margins (mostly the bottom), they were cut diagonally. So, start sticking by either left or right side and then align the sticker. It's not easy to explain by words :p

For example, Korea Japan was a good collection, all the figures were in my opinion in good condition.
However, this Euro was the exception.
Maybe it's my bad luck, the lot or are they fake?
