Huh... Wasn't Match Attax their first product for CL 2015/16? This is another collection, right?

That blonde Messi card convinced me to buy a lot from this collection...... NOT! Needless to say, prices will be extremely low and everyone can afford it.

Btw, here's Muller autograph: @

Now seriously... Is it me or we're slowly getting towards single cards collecting? Every major publisher is getting into this "limited/unique" business, so I'm getting afraid that one day, collecting football trading cards are only for rich or middle-class crazies... Or at least, product quality for the low-budget TC sets will decrease (after seeing Topps Rugby Match Attax, I'm very afraid of their card quality).

Another collection to fleece people out of their money. Cards don't look that special either.

Topps looking to maximise profits by offering this to North American markets.

Very smart as Footy has really grown since the MLS started and there is many kids who go to the games weeke in week out and watch it on the telly.

Kids & their parent collectors will spend the money on this new collection.

I actually reached out to one of the better online sellers here today. They told me that they were just solicited by Topps and will have the pre-order information available online shortly. I also asked them if they could provide any of the promo images/details from Topps for a mention, but I am still waiting to hear back.

And just to add to that. Because they are willing to actually distribute here, I WILL be buying it. I might prefer Panini, but if Topps is going to hit the ground running on proper US distribution, then they will get my money and support.

I think these looks really nice. Will probably pick up a base set at least. They have started to emerge on eBay as well.

amigo > Looking forward to hearing your opinion and see what hits you got from the box.

I just opened a box of this stuff and I am quite satisfied. 2 autographs for $80 is pretty amazing by the current industry standards. Unfortunately, some of the players did not put that much effort into their signature. The base quality is slightly higher than in Donruss soccer but much worse than in Prizm (but Prizm is much more expensive). I generally like the base design with action photos and semi-glossy players bodies except that the player’s name is written in silver on a white background and so is fairly difficult to read. Insert designs and subjects are a bit boring, but I don’t think it is very important.
