2 Cardsmiths Space Mega Boxes Break - Pull Results

Just finished ripping 2x Cardsmiths Space Mega Boxes and wanted to share the results.



Big hits:

• Box 1: Crypto Redemption + Beryl Gemstone Refractor (Mars #7)
• Box 2: Amethyst Gemstone Refractor (String Theory #20) + Deep Space Insert

Parallels:

• 6x Rainbow Holofoil
• 6x Matrix Holofoil
• 6x Iced Foil

Base cards:

• 41 unique (out of 80)
• But 31 duplicates across just 2 boxes… String Theory showed up 4 times, with Arecibo/Venus/Eclipse each appearing 3x. Rough collation if you’re chasing a full base set.

Completion math:

• 54 unique designs (including hits)
• 63 unique variants (counting foils/serials)
• Base completion ~51%

Odds vs pulls:

• Foils matched odds (1:3)
• 2x Gemstones (on par with 1 per box)
• 1x Deep Space Insert (hit above odds)
• 1x Crypto Redemption (way above odds)

Overall the boxes ran hot on big pulls, but the duplicate base cards made things less fun. Quality-wise, only the numbered refractors/inserts came out bendy; the base and parallels looked great.

I picked up a few of those too, and while the break was fun, I was mostly chasing hockey cards worth money. Didn't hit anything super rare, but did pull a decent RC that might have some potential if the player steps up. Definitely a gamble, but that’s part of the fun. Curious to see if anyone else landed something big in their boxes.
