1970 Panini album with all stickers - fake or authorized panini reprint

Hello all,

I have just bought a complete sealed 1970 Mexico Panini album, which came with 2 sticker packs and every single sticker needed to complete the album.
Does anyone know, if this package was official re-released by panini (obviously its not an authentic 1970 album+stickers)?
Was this an unlicensed/fake copy, which has nothing to do with Panini?

I watermarked the pictures so no more people are fooled in case this was fake...
Any hint where to find out more would be great.
Thank you
Rene

Hi Rene. If you look on eBay there is what appears to be a genuine sealed Panini WC 1970 album with a full set of cards/stickers. The seller is asking 20,000 euros for it. Panini sold sealed sets of this rarest of World Cup albums in the years after 1970, so they do exist. But compare your album and set with the one on eBay. In a genuine set only the front cover of the album is visible through the plastic cover. The cards/stickers are hidden behind the cardboard packing on the rear of the album. The 1970 set consisted of cards and stickers, so any set which is only stickers is a modern reproduction.
